I began collecting data by contacting the IT technician of Bru-Hims. It was quite difficult to get a response because the IT technician is being deployed out of the office to each health facility on a daily basis. I have gathered a list of questions specifically for the IT technician. Beforehand, I wrote down the questions on a piece of paper before implementing it into Microsoft word. I organised a meeting with them until they finally agreed.

Kaiser Permanente has been equipped since 2007 with Health Connect; which is the largest private electronic health record implementation in the world. This is a highly sophisticated electronic program that integrates inpatient, outpatient, and clinic medical records with appointments, registration, pharmacy, and billing for all kaiser members. In addition, this electronic program includes an entire medical library with a whole set of care support tools which are accessible to doctors, nursing staff and patients (Kaiser Permanente, n.d.). At kaiser permanente; nurses are expected to print out “the after-visit summary” (AVS), which contain the doctor recommendations for each patient that we see.

Health Information Exchange Providers across the U.S. are turning to the Health Information Exchange also known as HIE. HIE provides secure online access to patients charts among a network of providers, hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, and pharmacies who join in the exchange, so they can have timely electronic access to records their patients will allow them to share. For patients this means having their medical records available no matter where they go and for providers it means having instant access to life saving information when seconds count

School board business is public business and all official board action should be taken in open session. Personnel matters, matters affecting a student, discussions of confidential financial data, discussions of negotiations, and matter relating to the security of the board or the school are reasons for the school board to go into an executive session. The consultation with an attorney for the board, which would be deemed, privileged in the attorney-client relationship is another reason to go into an executive

Baltimore mayoral candidate Andrey Bundley was arrested for placing advertisement flyers on vehicles without the owner’s permission. Bundley was released without charges. Laws against placing advertisement flyers vary from city to city depending on local ordinances which outline laws for trespassing, soliciting, and littering. If the advertisement material is discarded onto the property causing the party who initially distributed the material be liable. A legal right to arrest the officer must have witnesses the actions and requires probable cause.

A union bug typically contains a genuine label representing the code that offers identification of the printing company that has done the work of the printing. A graphic representation of the union may be printed through a union bug printing. As a private sector, the University of Southern Mississippi Foundation is a non-profit organization that serves the University community by overseeing fundraising efforts to raise private support for scholarships and other academic needs. The USM Foundation is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, who are dedicated to building successful relationships with the University and its supporters. The Foundation in return provides services to its donors, Southern Miss, and the local community by encouraging commitment and investment in the future of the University. An Application of Federal Plain Language Guidelines Introduction The Plain Language in Government Communications Act of 2008 states: “In this Act... The term ‘plain language’ means language that the intended audience can readily understand and use because it is clear, concise, well-organized, and follows other best practices of plain language writing” (sec. 3). Federal Plain Language Guidelines were published in 2011 to provide the principles of plain language which should be applied in documents of the federal government. These guidelines were developed to help public organizations produce documents that are designed and organized to be easily understood by users.
