Adnan Syed was the main suspect due to the fact he is Hae’s ex-boyfriend, and Adnan's former friend Jay Wilds testified against him, securing Adnan's conviction. People who know Adnan describe him as a nice person, surely not capable of murder. Adnan should not have been convicted of this crime because his lawyer looked over key evidence, Hae’s diary says only positive things about Adnan, and there is no physical evidence linking him to the crime.

As an African American, I think it is important to provide other dance therapist information for working with African American and educate them about our culture.
Wrongful convictions are not very common in the United States, studies estimate that 4%-5% of people convicted in United States prisons are actually innocent. Adnan Syed was wrongfully convicted for the murder of Hae Min Lee. There is tons of evidence to prove why he is innocent and guilty. Ultimately, he was proven innocent after 23 years of false imprisonment. There were many misleading facts/statements and unfair trials due to the defense.

's adoptive mother, Abby, is a child abuse lawyer, and his adoptive father, John Paul Jones, is a community volunteer and guardian ad litem who is still haunted from his youth, in which he accidentally killed a child in a driving incident after a one night stand with the child 's mother. At Cutter High School, T. J. is a physically impressive senior who has refused to join any sports teams due to his childhood history of anger management issues. His non-involvement irritates much of the faculty, who pride themselves on the physical achievements of their students, displaying favoritism toward their star athletes, such as Mike Barbour, a vicious bully. T. J. often finds Barbour harassing Chris Coughlin an intellectually student who must unfairly live in the wake of a widely-admired older brother who died in a freak accident.
On January 13th, 1999 Hae Min Lee disappeared. Somewhere between 2:15 and 2:36 p.m. that day she was murdered. Four weeks later on February 9th, 1999 her body was found at Leakin Park. On February 28th, 1999 Adnan Masud Syed, Hae’s ex-boyfriend, was arrested and charged with first degree murder. However since his arrest Adnan has maintained his innocence and insists he had no involvement whatsoever in Hae Lee’s murder.

On May 14, 2017 I interviewed Pouneh Sanaee about what it means to be American to her. She’s an immigrant that moved here two years ago from Iran. she wants to be a pharmacist, start to play basketball basketball like she used to in High School, and be able to help her family. The reason that she moved here was because she is Baha'i and the government in Iran says that it’s crime to be Bahai. The government used to jail her family just because of what they believed in which is really sad.
Who really is the murder of Hae Min Lee? Two high school teenagers who go to Woodland High School are suspects of Hae Min Lee’s murder. Hae was murdered by manual strangulation, but there was not enough evidence to prove Adnan guilty. Adnan’s friend Jay admitted to helping Adnan bury the body. An investigative reporter named Sarah Koenig made a podcast in 2014 about Lee’s murder.

Adnan’s case is a complex one, there’s not a lot of evidence against him, however there are a lot of coincidences that happened the day of Hae’s disappearance.
