Hank Williams, Jr., was born Randall Hank Williams to Hank and Audrey nee’ Sheppard Williams. Hank Williams, Jr., was only 3 years old when his father died (“Hank”...Bio para.4). In the year 1974 he attempted suicide but was able to turn himself around (“Hank”...Bio para.6). If he would have died in 1974 then he would have just been a remake of his father’s life. Instead he moved from Tennessee to Alabama to rethink his life. After his suicide attempt, he started to change his music style by creating his own work. He made his first album that was his work not his dad's. The album was called “Hank WIlliams Jr. and Friends”. In his first album he had people like Waylon Jennings and The Tucker Band’s Toy Caldwell and others. In the album he had big hits like “Living Proof” and “Stoned at the Jukebox”(“Career” para.11). The album was a mix of country with rock and roll (“About” para.5). It had mainly Southern rock though and blues with the country and rock & roll (Dauphin para.1). He fell 442 foot down the side of the mountain. He was left with a split skull and a crushed face yet he survived. He wrote songs to not only warn, but attack bad things, such as violence, racism and the use of drugs. The song “Southern Man” attacked racism. The song “Southern Man” is about a man with a bunch of black slaves and how the black slaves do not use violence, but instead hold back their frustration and do not go to violence.
The life of the late Troy Davis commenced on October 9th, the year 1989. Troy Davis was the eldest of five children for his mother, Virginia Davis and his father, Joseph Davis. Davis’ father was a veteran of the Korean War and his mother was a hospital worker. Troy grew up in the Cloverdale, Savannah. Troy’s parents got divorced when he was still quite young.
That band had Hank Majewski on rhythm guitar, Billy Thompson on drums, and Frank Cattone on accordion. Inbetween 1954 and 1956 they performed and recorded under a variety of names but eventually they settled on the name The Four Seasons. From 1956 up until 1958 the group had stayed together, performing in lounges and clubs under the name The Four Lovers along with recording on various record labels with names: Frankie Valley and the Travelers, Frankie Valley, the Village Voices. In 1959 the group started working with the songwriter/producer Bob Crewe, where they primarily did session work. Later that year the Four Lovers were performing in Baltimore on the same stage as the Royal Teens, The Royal Teens were currently riding on their success of “Short Shorts”. That song which was co-written by the then 15-year-old Bob Gaudio, who was also the Royal Teen’s keyboardist.

Walking around Nashville, you’re never in short supply of “the next big thing.” Country music has gone from smokey bar rooms, to some of the biggest musical stages and venues imaginable. Jones worked very hard and Frank Sinatra noticed his hard work and dedication so he awarded him “the second best male singer in America.” When Jones sings it is full of emotion and shows all the effort and time he puts into his music. Luke Bryan has worked over the years to become the successful country artist he is today. He grew up working on his father’s peanut farm, but in his early teens, he decided that he wanted to have a career in music (Luke Bryan Biography 1). Luke began writing songs with the help from others, which benefited him in the long run since many of his songs and albums have made it on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 charts (Luke Bryan Biography 1; Demings Award Section). Although Luke Bryan came from humble beginnings, growing up working on a farm in Georgia, his hard work and dedication through the years have propelled him to a very successful country career.
