1Hey Tasha, I like many of your points. I love the points about how your organization implements a system. I am a computer hobbyist and appreciate how complex working with technology is and it would be very easy for departments to lose touch with each other. And a system is critical to keeping all of those parts together. You are correct that blame would kill creativity in the tech industry, because the industry thrives off of taking risks to shorten latency on projects or to try something nobody knows they need yet. 2I also concur that there needs to be an objective devil’s advocate, to make sure there isn’t just change for the sake of change. You address this and say this is your roll. But this is tricky, as I have ran into with running
Mark Mathabane uses the rhetorical triangle which involves ethos, pathos, and logos. The one he tends to use the most is logos because it appeals to logic. Throughout his writing there is credibility based off of his personal experiences that he endured and turned into a positive. For example walking away from getting rape or abuse by those men or even worse. He also used pathos as dealing with the audience emotions and offers solutions to the high school and the readers see’s both points of view in a better perspective.
The purpose of Sgt. John Wilson is to give information to the reader in the sense of a autobiography. Lois Simmie does this by foreshadowing the event in the prologue. But not completely giving it away till much further in the book. if this were a novel the sequence of events would change completely but since this is an autobiography the order of events do not need to be followed 100% all the way through.
Hi Lana, You are correct, that is a very good thesis statement. The thesis is properly placed, and it contains three sub-topics. A well written thesis with three sub-topics are very important, it will act as a road map telling the audience what is to come. The thesis statement is perhaps the most crucial element of all in an essay.
Referring to Michael Mateas’ article, I argue that Gerty is an example of “behavioral interactionist AI” which its different with HAL, Gerty focuses with embodied agents interacting in a physical or virtual world. HAL is an example of “symbolist, classical AI”, which focuses with symbolic manipulation and problem solving. Thus both of these two AL has abilities to accomplish many specific capabilities, such as playing chess, communicate with people, etc. However, HAL its illustrates goal-driven behavior, which leads him to express inner conflicts and tells complicated lies that creates strong contrast with Gerty; Gerty is more emotional about Sam but not trying to achieve his goal. HAL accurately represents the vision of classic AI, but Gerty
Celia Wright tells about her growing up in a home that had bibles, and how she would read the bible when she was litte but as she became older when she did read the bible she really wouldn 't get understand what it was saying. She says it was like the words was in a different languge, and she couldn 't decifer wheather what she was reading was a parable and what wasnt. I have always thought that i was the only one that had a hard time understand and desifering what the bible was describing but after watching Celia 's video i realized that i wasn 't alone. I also struggle with reading my bible everyday like i should and i have been trying to work on it because the word is our weapon to use against satin and it helps to understand the what
Now, having stated the above you never should have gotten involved, as the problem exists between Patti and me; not you, Patti, and me. However, Patti has allowed you to say whatever you want to me, as does she, but when I say something it’s not okay. Would you allow Patti to confront your daughter on a matter that she sees as wrong? I don’t think so.
In 1905, a United States social reformer named Florence Kelley fought for child labor laws and improved working conditions for women. In July 1095, Kelley delivered a speech on child labor (and other topics) while in Philadelphia as a part of the National American Woman Suffrage Association convention. Within the speech, Kelley uses many notable rhetorical devices, which will be analyzed in this essay. Perhaps the most noticeable of Kelley’s rhetorical devices is the vast amount of facts and statistics contained within her speech.
Chayce, I believe the meaning of this post does in fact answer the question presented, but some of the supporting details typed, I, to my belief, find invalid. “Viewing are noble actions can make us seem more self righteous then we sometime are entitled.” shows you believe we excessively show smugness in our actions than we believe we do. Although I agree, I don’t see this as a coherent statement for this topic. As you did describe a average person’s characteristic flaws, I don’t recall the story (at least the 5 chapters I read) mentioning high self-pride.
In “What We Are to Advertisers” and “Men’s Men and Women’s Women” both Twitchell and Craig reveal how advertisers utilize stereotypes to manipulate and persuade consumers into purchasing their products. Companies label their audience and advertise to them accordingly. Using reliable sources such as Stanford Research Institute, companies are able to use the data to their advantage to help market their products to a specific demographic. Craig and Twitchell give examples of this ploy in action by revealing how companies use “positioning” to advertise the same product to two demographics to earn more profit. Craig delves more into the advertisers ' plan by exposing the science behind commercials.
Emotional (Pathos) “‘Polly, I love you. You are the whole world to me, and the moon and the stars and the constellations of outer space. Please, my darling, say that you will go steady with me, for if you will not, life will be meaningless. I will languish. I will refuse my meals.
Reading and writing reflection Reading and writing has had one of the greatest roles in my life, and has made me the person I am today. If I was not able to read or write,my life would be very difficult, school would be very Challenging ,and I would not be able to figure out anything out by myself and for myself. Although I love to read and write, writing not as much,I find some parts very difficult to fully understand. Fully analyzing the text is something i always have trouble with. When I am asked to analyze texts and find rhetorical appeals,I sometimes struggle because I don’t fully understand the story and I do not fully understand some appeals, such as ethos.

The United States is made up of some of the most diverse and interesting cultures in the world. Jamila Lyiscott proves this by showing her different dialects and how they are all equally important. Lyiscott believes that the way she speaks towards her parents, towards her friends, and towards her colleagues are all one in the same. Throughout the entirety of her speech, Lyiscott changes up her vocal patterns and dialects so that the audience can understand first hand what each of these dialects are. When she talks about her father, Lyiscott uses her native tongue, when she talks to her fellow neighbors and close friends she switches it up to a more urbanized dialect, and when she is in school she masks the other two dialects with a professional sounding language.
Political ads are a way to persuade you to vote for one political party or the other. Every 4 years, there is an election between democrats and republicans that will help decide the next president of the United States. These campaigns between the democrats and the republicans are the strategies candidates use to win your vote. During the election season, there is many speeches made by both the people who are running for president. Debates between the two sides can sway your vote to one side or the other depending on what the candidates say.
While Chanel is definitely a group company that has been any discussion to pinpoint one company which represents the whole group. And it makes sense to consider that Chanel. S.A.
