Happiness Reflection Paper

The Finding Meaning, Joy, and Happiness project is composed of three sections, two logs and a reflection paper. The goal of this assignment was to perform various tasks that gave the individual more insight to a wide arrange of methods that can be done to improve one’s wellness. The two sections that I found to be most helpful to me was the sleep log gratitude/kindness logs while the most challenging was the fitness and eating log. As a very involved college student the sleep long was ideal for me. This activity forced me to acquire seven to eight hours of sleep three days in a row. By being more exposed to many things that I can now make better decisions that will positively affect my health. As a student the most important things that can benefit me is to get enough sleep. Lack of sleep can affect your overall health in a positive and negative way. Negatively one can be more prone to receiving serious medical conditions, but positively it will help to make me more alert, feel more rested, perform better in school, and feel happier during the day. My career aspirations are to become a family doctor or a pediatrician. As a medical professional I will be exposed to many stressful situations and it will be important to react in the proper manor. Yoga is a great physical way to help relieve stress and is an activity that I would like to continue in my professional field. Relationships can be a lot of work and very stressful, but it is important to have someone that you can confine in. Having a friend that I can trust is a great way to relive some of the internal stress, heavy emotional burden, or unspoken remorse. I am very grateful that I have numerous people that I can speak to and whom will listen to me whenever I many need
