Happy Teachers Day to all the dear teachers. My teachers are likely to change the next year, so I find this the most fit and auspicious occassion to let loose my feelings for my teachers in all these years. Although I donot deserve to be called a student till date in my own eyes, yet I have had carried love and affection for all those who have lectured, and for those I have seen and exchanged smiles with in the faculty rooms and outside. Deepanker Sir, you have made me feel the most guilty of myself; you are a sea of knowlege and I a lost bird who couldn't drink much of your drops. Wish before leaving Amity I wake up a little to enjoy and satiate myself with some of what you give so endlessly. You get lost in your teaching, and that's one thing …show more content…
Shailly Vaibhav Sharma Ma'am, you left the department, but you left with a record of leaving hardly any student who disliked you any little as a teacher and as a person. If there should be a Wall of Fame in the department, your photo clearly appears at the top. Ruchi Ma'am, you had the art of Hitler in maintaining control yet the quality of a mother to make a family out of a chaotic gathering. Wish you stayed more. Ramandeep Ma'am, you were a strict mother, who had her rules, but never to boost her ego but with a clean heart of directing and guiding her children. Nidhi Ma'am, you were perfect a lecturer, it always felt so high to listen or query you, it felt with you we are in a quality institution. Nitika Ma'am, no no Shweta Singh Ma'am you have a tough competitor, or may be a perfect partner if ever there is a play you two should together take part in. I guess it would be Hollywood and Bollywood working together should Shweta Ma'am and Nitika Ma'am play together. Divya Pathak Ma'am, I know you were rediculed and criticised much in the department, yet I felt a loving nature in you, wish we were more supportive to you while you were
Many people are raised up by the idea that the society they live in always needs more adjustment, and other people around them are not always friendly. I am also one of those people. Since I was little, I was taught by my father not to trust anyone around, and not to pay too much effort into any kind of relationship. Even though I might not necessarily agree with him, I still followed his advice for years. However, I always ended up feeling lonely and depressed.
As it says in the story, “Teaching I don’t enjoy at all. This is primarily a research university, and I only have four hours a week in front of a class, but it takes me almost a

Teachers make students feel unwelcome, and they might give up on their education as a result. In the text, "I Just Wanna Be Average" by Mike Rose, it states, "Sophomore English was taught by Mr. Mitropetros. He was a large, bejeweled man who managed the parking lot at the Shrine Auditorium. We’d ask questions and glance knowingly and snicker, and all that fueled the poor guy to brag some more. Parking cars was his night job. "
Also, being a teacher is very time consuming and emotional so you have to be ready to deal with that. As a teacher, one has to realize that there is your emotions don’t stop at 3pm and you don’t forget your students or what happened that day, it is always carried with you. Mrs. Rutigliano brings up the point that as a teacher, you never get a

I decided to go to the school board meeting because I was once a student that went through Columbia Public School. I wanted to hear what has changed the past few years after I left Columbia Public School and entered college. There was a big discussion on building more elementary schools and a middle school in the near future due to the increase rate of kids in Boone County. The issues were money and finding ways to get the kids prepare for kindergarten and having them do better in school such as reading for example. One of the issues that were discussed was having summer meetings.
Lessons in class are rushed and left unfinished due to the tight time restraints placed upon teachers. They are given an inadequate amount of time to teach the excessive amount of material given to them to cover and, more often than not, they fall behind in their lesson plan, leaving them unable to teach all of the topics in each of their classes. Teachers struggle in reciting the entire lesson within the given time. With the extra fifteen to twenty minutes on their hands they could

Picture this: you get home from school after two one hour-long clubs and after sports. You rush home, devour dinner, and it’s about 6:30. You still have two or three hours of homework to do. You finish your homework at around 8:30, and then play on their phone until midnight and fall asleep. Then you wake up the next morning, still very tired, and do it all over again.

But, what I do remember is a lot of pain and a few visitors. It wasn’t the best day and I don’t remember every detail.
