The villain will continuously afflict the emotions by causing them harm in any possible method they can figure out. The common method a villain may resort to is harming those the hero deeply cares for. For instance, in the animated film, Batman the Killing joke, the joker

In the short story, “The Cask of Amontillado,” written by Edgar Allen Poe, the main character, Montresor, suffers from an abnormal physcology for revenge due to his name being mocked by a man named Fortunato. Montresor is so consumed by his hatred for Fortunato that he deliberately creates a plot to murder Fortunato to seek justice for himself and his family name.

These code of law were written on a big stone tab and put in the middle of the city to remind every one of the laws they must abide by. By the command of Shamash, the great god and judge of heaven and earth, Hammurabi was told to write these set of laws so there will be order and justice. The logic of the laws is to that there is order and providing consequences for bad actions.

Every life decision that we make reveals part of our character. If we decide to make corrupt decisions, then we most likely have an unethical personality. In the book The Chosen, Chaim Potok uses Danny Saunders to show that dangerous decisions reveal morbid personalities. The decisions he makes as a great baseball player and intelligent Jew, reflect his violent and rebellious personality. With this, his lonely side will also be discovered.
I say this because Iago is evil but he knows that he has more potential and he doesn’t give up easily. Iago has a talent for understanding and manipulating the people that is around him and that makes him both a powerful and a compelling figure. This is how he shows that he has a growth mindset. He believes in cheating and lying for gain. Once he proves to himself that he is indeed evil he challenges himself and proves that he can get even more evil by manipulating people.
Is lying always bad? The real truth is that sometimes lying is the only answer to fix what life throws at people. The lies that Huckleberry Finn told with the intent of saving Jim are justifiable. While on the other hand, the duke and the dauphin angered the readers every time these con men opened their mouths. What makes a lie good or bad?

The narrator from The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe is about a killer with a mental illness who ends up growing hatred for an old man’s evil eye. His hate for that evil eye eventually leads him to killing the old man. The narrator from Strawberry Spring by Stephen King is also a killer with a mental illness and terrorizes a college campus. He does this by murdering many college girls without leaving any traces behind.

In the tragedy of Othello, William Shakespeare demonstrates that psychopaths can negatively impact everyone around them due to the certain characteristics that they possess. Iago possesses all of the traits associated with psychopaths and it is clear that his behaviour is motivated by his psychopathy. After murdering his cat and wife, he wanted to make sure that his effort did not go unnoticed. In “The Cask of Amontillado” the main character, Montresor, used alcohol to lure his friend into his family's catacombs. Little did Fortunato know, Montresor was taking him to his death.
