When his parents divorced it made him very angry and affected him in a negative way and was often left alone. He also got very scared that he would be left alone in the wilderness forever. He has changed in the same way as the rest of his club. He started out as an innocent, intelligent, trustable kid and turned evil and wicked, not thinking for anyone other than himself, trying to beat his first best, with everyone else in the club doing the same. His relationship with Cheryl also changed. They started dating, but near the end of the book, weren’t really sure where their relationship was at that point. How the principal and his parents thought of him also changed.
A Dynamic character is a character who undergoes an important inner change, as a change in personality or attitude. In the play The Crucible the character Reverend Hale changes from a dedicated Puritan, who supports the court and their decisions, to someone who supports the people, and had total belief in the innocence of all those mconvicted and hung in Salem. At the beiging of the play reverend john hale was strict with accusations made from the court. When he entered salem he was faced with the accusation of tituba conjuring.
The major events in one’s life are what shape their true character and personality. Over the course of the book The Body of Christopher Creed by Carol Plum-Ucci, many characters underwent a lot of change to their emotions and views of society. A great example of this is Torey. In the book, Torey becomes more obsessive and aware of other’s feelings. Torey had a massive change in character from the start to end of the book because of how the Chris Creed mystery affected him.

The Hatchet is a intense survival story. The main character Brian is trapped in a forest after a bad plane crash. In the story, Brian used three survival strategies to lead him to staying alive in the forest and being able to face any challenges of survival. The strategies used are Trial and Error, Positive Thinking, and Observation. In the next paragraphs I will talk about the three main survival strategies Brian used to survive the forest.
In the book “Hatchet” By Gary Paulsen before the boy, Brian Robeson crashes in the forest he didn't know anything about survival and he had to learn how to catch food and learn how to adapt and what he has to do to prepare for the next day. When Brian gets in the forest he faces a choice: grow up and be tough or die. Brian accepts the challenge and emerges from it having experienced the responsibilities and pressures of adulthood. In my opinion Hatchet explains the story better using imagery and foreshadowing. For example when Brian was eating the raspberries he told us that they were tangy, sweet, juicy, and ripe which helped me almost be able to taste the berries. When Brian from, “A Cry In The Wild”ate the fish he just talked to himself I couldn’t paint a picture in my head or even almost taste it, it really didn’t describe the fish or use imagery. When Brian in hatchet ate the fish he told us it was greasy, flaky smelled good, and tasted so good. I could almost smell and taste the fish this is where he used imagery again.
