Romeo and Juliet Argumentative Essay It 's a dark, shocking scene in Verona where three people lost their lives in a matter of seconds. Two young lovers, tears still dripping down their pale faces. Romeo, who took poison in hopes to meet his lover once again, left his mother lying dead on the ground, traumatized by the horrific scene. It may seem that it is faith that causes the deaths of these people, but in reality, it is much more complicated than that. Romeo and Juliet fell in love and got married because of Romeo, knowing that their families would not accept the relationship, and that it may fuel the feud.
Juliet is to blame because she also made a very risky and dull decision to take a “potion” to fake her death causing Romeo to then hear from his close friend Balthasar (his connection to Verona and Juliet’s news as to how she is doing) and then cause his heart to break, causing him to go to extremes and kill himself to be with her. Romeo is convinced she is dead therefore it leads to him actually poisoning himself “O true
“Sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urged! Give me my sin back (1.5.109-110).” He is saying that he wants Juliet to love him without knowing who she is.How else will they disobey his advice at all? 3rd point: They need to learn the lesson because Romeo gets into a fight with Tybalt after he killed Mercutio.Romeo loses his best friend but doesn’t think about his wife. Romeo is emotionally confused so he says, “Either thou or I, or both, must go with him (3.1.91).” Romeo just kills his wife's cousin without thinking how she would feel or what would happen.
Death, tragedy, misery, love, and unity, all of these words describe the story of Romeo and Juliet, but it all revolved around Tybalt making his first terrible mistake. In the play Romeo and Juliet written by Shakespeare, the short story is that two young lovers secretly get married, people murder in anger, the two lovers get separated, and then end their lives in a tragic death because of no communication. But, like I said, this all revolves around a mistake Tybalt makes because of the feud between the Capulet (Juliet’s family) and the Montague (Romeo’s family). Tybalt is the character most to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet because, he killed Mercutio, which lead to Romeo 's banishment, which then leads to the suicides of Romeo

Although their tragic flaws contribute, the feud between the families and fate cause the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Throughout the play Romeo and Juliet show many tragic flaws.
In the Shakespearean play Romeo and Juliet, the play is mainly ran by the bad choices Romeo and Juliet make. These many hasty decisions eventually led to the death of the two star crossed lovers. Some of the decisions that will be mentioned here will be: Romeo getting involved in Mercutio and Tybalt’s “duel”, the Friar agreeing to marry Romeo and Juliet, and the two lovers rushing into marriage. To begin, one of the impetuous decisions Romeo makes: Getting involved in Mercutio and Tybalt.“Hold Tybalt! Good Mercutio!” Romeo should have just stayed out of these two “dueling”(although it wasn’t really fighting) because had he stayed out Mercutio wouldn’t have been killed and the law would have caught up with Tybalt for dueling
In fact, in the prologue it says “A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life;” the phrase star-crossed means full of bad luck. So this play is meant to have bad luck (or bad decisions?). When Romeo and Juliet decide to get married or Juliet decides to fake her death and not tell Romeo. Those decisions were foolish and self-centered decisions. Even Romeo stabbing himself after he finds Juliet was a rash decision.

The controversy surrounds his actions that he took during the play that ultimately lead to the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. To set off the chain of events Friar Lawrence agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet in secret. This would cause lots of problems in the future because Romeo is exiled. To reunite the couple Lawrence gives Juliet a poison that will make her appear dead so that Romeo can return, and take Juliet back to Mantua with him where they will live happily ever after. Since Romeo is in Mantua they have to send him a letter telling him about the plan.
