An animalistic roar cut through the still rather cold air, just as a few instructions were exchanged between the men down in the street through yelling and shouting. The animal, painted with red color that highly contrasting with its skin, only gave another distressed sound and bucked, making the trinkets on him jingle. The men, trying to calm the beast, all took a step back before the shouting began anew, none of them paying any attention to the silhouette high above them. "I think now is the best time," a smile graced her features for a moment but the woman's dark eyes lacked any mirth. "Do the guards know you are here?" the captain spoke up again, following the dark haired woman's gaze - she eyed the group of officers in a strangely familiar fashion. Malik raised one of his eyebrows expectantly. "They do." Lamia's eyebrows lowered as if in momentarily confusion at the question, but her chin was held proudly in a moment again. "They let me in because I said I was here to join your ranks." With that, Yasir regarded the woman in front of him for the first time. Her frame seemed delicate just as any woman's under the layers of the traditional clothing - nothing that would make him consider her words the second time. Besides; he did not like this woman's tone. "I see - well in that case, you should return to them and tell them it was foolish of them to let you in." "Foolish?" confusion began to seep into the woman's face as she drew her eyebrows together in a frown. "Does that mean -

Although he knew to wait fifteen minutes, his eagerness took over and Jamie left his spot. Being cautious to make as little sound as possible, he dashed over to find the spot where he shot the buck. The buck was nowhere to be seen, but something else important was there.

Quotation: “Last night I thought about all that kerosene I’ve used in the past ten years. And I thought about books. And for the first time I realized that a man was behind each one of the books. A man had to think them up. A man had to take a long time to put them down on paper.
He didn’t say anything at first, just sitting down in a chair beside her and they sat like that for a few moments; in silence. “Reeve, darling,” Sarrel broke the silence suddenly. He put his hands over her folded ones that sat on her lap, looking at her in reassurance. “You’re going to look beautiful.”
She asked as those green eyes opened towards her. She could see the smile within them looking into her soul as storm had done to his recently. The warrior raised his hands and removed his helm slowly as she waited for him to
“Depends on who's asking,” he replied, crossing his strong arms behind his head. She reached up and adjusted her hood, effectively keeping her face in shadow, “You'll do any job, am I right?” “If it pays enough,” he sighed, letting his feet slide back down to the floor so he could lean forward slightly, his business face on. “Would this be enough?”
You look inviting with these cuffs in your hands” Eleanor said with a seductive smile. “ What changed about you? You are more daring than before” Carver said. “ Don't you like it?” Eleanor replied with a smile.
“About time you woooke Mark,” said Snowfall the horse. “Martel was worried when he had to carry you up here.” I slowly lifted my head and looked around. I was in the bivouac lying down next to my saddle; Snowfall was standing over me. Martel was nowhere in sight, but I could hear him loudly talking to himself as he came up the bank from the creek.
Then he looked at Eriana. He smiled at her and then his face got a stone expression. He approached the captain. "If I'm right who made the massacre in this place we have to get out of here right away.
“What are you doing here, Fin?” she snapped. “You shouldn’t be wandering around the palace. Aedus will be furious if he
I think Conrad wrote Heart of Darkness as a retelling of sorts of the things he saw and experienced on his voyage to the Congo. Heart of Darkness in part is clearly based in part on the trip that Conrad took through modern-day Congo during his years as a sailor. I think Conrad wrote Heart of Darkness in order to tell and take a critical view of European colonization. I think Conrad wrote Marlow as a foil for himself, in reality, the horrors and issue with colonization Marlow saw are probably the same feelings by Conrad himself. Although don't believe Conrad was as outspoken about the injustice of human slavery as he could be he did to certain extent wants to expose the truth of liberalism and its darkness.
And yes, Potter, of course I’m sure. “ Taking another look at the two-floor tavern, he sighed in annoyance. “Fine. Let’s say I find this man there. What makes
