Without these principles management will not be successful. These principles were all borne form careful observation and analysis of situations faced in organizations. Henry Fayol who is a French industrialist also known as the3 father of management brought about the 14 principle of management which he believed is responsible for the success of any management. 1. DIVISION OF LABOR: He believed that different jobs should be allocated to different people and this should be based on their area of specialty. He believed that if this is done, it will lead to efficiency in work places and more productivity. 2. PARTY OF AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY” Authority refers to the right of the superiors. Fayol believed that authority should be given to one person only and that person should be responsible. Making them responsible makes them understand that it’s not just about commanding people but they have to perform the job they are called to do. 3. PRINCIPLE OF ONE BOSS: The people in an organization should be answerable to only one person. There should be only one boss to avoid confusion. It will help the superiors in the profession to run the profession in the way that will make it unique. 1.6 RECENT RESEARCH In a research work carried out in Department of education in Aligarh Muslim University in India last year, they applied Henry Fayol’s principle in management of the school for better classroom management. According to the study, they said that the objective of effective teaching is achieved by better classroom management which is by incorporating set goals and making the students work towards goal achievement through group activities. The writer also tried to bring conflicts among the student to the minimum thereby creating better atmosphere for learning.
