The human tradition, prose or poetry, written or oral, is full of stories of heroic events related or turns around a central character. This later is called the hero. He is always the good guy who saves the lives of people being admired for his noble character. The different dictionary definitions of the word are notably so close. It is always found that he is a person who, in the opinion of others, has special achievements, courageous abilities, or personal qualities and is regarded as a role model or ideal. The word is derived from Latin word” heros”, and the Greek “ hērōs . Relating the meaning of the word hero to methodology and folklore, he is a person with superhuman qualities and often has semi-divine origin (semi-gods or sons of gods) such as Achilles or Akhilleus the famous Greek warrior.

Historically speaking it is said that the word hero appeared in history as the proper name of famous persons. The most famous one returns to a priestess of Aphrodite in one of her time’s cities on the European shore, whose lover Leander who lived on the opposite shore, swam the strait nightly to visit her.
