This allows a teacher that is willing to use some new approach to keep student engagement high because of the new and different ways they are challenging the student. Keeping students engaged in a classroom learning with technology is a great tool for education and educators to help make learning more fun for students. If you make learning more fun for students, then they will take a greater investment in it and might be able to take the learning into their own hands, which should be the greatest goal in
I think that two of the most important benefits of being an APTA member as a student are the student study resources and the ‘getting involved’ information. I think that all the options in the study resources tab would be an invaluable tool to use in researching different topics and scenarios for future classes and clinical rounds. It is nice to know that I can go to a reliable source to search for answers on topics I need more clarification on. The other neat benefit is the special student interest groups in the ‘getting involved’ tab; this sounds like a great way for students to further themselves as future physical therapists. I think it would be quite profitable to be a part of one; it sounds like a great way to communicate and work with other students from Texas in a smaller, more focused setting.
Allowing them to be successful learners, confident and creative. Helping develop interests through play based learning, to construct their own identities of the world. Research demonstrates that children’s quality early learning experiences set them up for academic success and personal wellbeing later in life (Sylva, Siraj-Blatchford, Taggart, Sammons, Melhuish, Elliot and Totsika, 2006; Clarke, 2009). Linking each experience to one of the five outcomes. The students’ products and performances can also increase their own awareness and self-esteem (Kiger, 1998).
CRITIQUE OF ARTICLE: I thought this to be an excellent article that provided a clear understanding of the paraeducator’s role in the classroom and how to make the educational team a success. There were several key suggestions that I know as a regular educator would be and have been excellent tools for my understanding of new strategies and teaching techniques. I can see where these would be extremely beneficial for the paraeducator as well. I love the way the authors say to include the paraeducators in setting the tone for the classroom by creating the shared philosophy together. It will make both the paraeducator and the teacher clear on what is desired to be accomplished for the school year.
I want to join Year Up because the program appeals to many of my interest. I believe that Year Up is a good program for me. I am young and very devoted to learning new things and I believe the whole purpose of Year Up to give us youth the skills and training we need to achieve our personal goals. Year Up is a way for me to gain entry-level skills in the growing field of technology. I believe that I am a good candidate for Year Up because of my determination, hard working mindset, and personal values that will contribute to the Year Up program.
I love teaching when the learning in classroom is creative and tangible: When I can sense it in the quickening pace of a roundtable or a student’s visible delight in using newly learned jargon; when I can hear the excitement in students’ testimonials about mastering skills that “made a difference” or theories that transformed practices and perspectives. I count these as teaching successes and make it a habit to reflect on their origins so that I can recreate the conditions for their occurrence repeatedly. The material I teach will inform my philosophy of teaching: relevant scholarship, and the lesson I have learned from personal teaching successes and failures. Classroom activities and assignments will be student-led and compelled by students’
Specific strategies have been found useful when teaching students with a visual impairment assistive technology which include task analysis, pre-teaching and re-teaching, scaffolding, independent practice and differentiated individualized instruction (2014). I believe that teaching assistive technology is the most important are of the ECC. The world today is the technology era. Technology is in everyday life and continues to grow. All students can benefit from learning about technology but the blind or visually impaired will benefit the most.
This method is an excellent tool for open dialogue and teamwork, developing teams towards continuous improvement and learning, is used for the transfer of knowledge, values and experiences of people who work together. Action learning is much more than technology training. This is an extremely effective and efficient way of working, which allows to realise the objectives of both professional and developmental. With daily tasks create educational situation that allows company to grow. By this method participants learn how to analyse and draw conclusions.
Technology in Classrooms Using technology in the classroom is beneficial to students to aid in learning. Integrating technology into classrooms is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles. In the classrooms, teachers use smartboards to offer more diverse platforms for students to work with new ideas and demonstrate understanding. Technology resources should be available to all students to use during school hours and also outside of schools. Technology is beneficial throughout the world.
