One of the main trends of Hip Hop fashion is jewelry. Because Hip Hop style originated from Africa and Latin, jewelry is a use as a status symbol. For example, Hip Hop accessories are made from high-priced metal such as gold, platinum and silver. Because of such expensive metal, Hip Hop jewelry held a symbol of wealth and prestige. Another trend of Hip Hop fashion is head wear. For example, fashion companies like Levi Strauss Co., Cross Colours and Chanel create clothing such as head wear because it is a common trend.
