The artists should be happy because they can compose any types of music to express themselves. However do these rappers truly need to use disrespectful and profane words? Do they need to publicize swearing words to youths? Do they have to speak explicitly about drugs? Rap music has created a disagreement in many ways, especially among parents and teenagers.
Subcultures are values and norms different from those of the majority and are held by a group within a wider society, these social groups are organized around shared interests and practices. A subculture is usually attached to clothes music and other visible fronts within the given community, that is part of the general society. It was originated from African-American cultural that initially recognized as the verbal expression of the African-American youth voicing their experiences. For these people, hip-hop was a form of expression for all those feelings that they were refused to say. Now it has become the most powerful form of music and has an influence impact on other cultures all around the world.

One’s beliefs about themselves and the world around them greatly affect their actions, and while their philosophies differ, the message is still the same. A person’s mindset grows and evolves with their beliefs. This is true for Siddhartha Gautama because as his beliefs change, his mindset adapts to them. Throughout Hesse’s novel Siddhartha, Siddhartha adopts various philosophies through his time as a Samana, as a rich man, and as a ferryman that shape his identity and actions, serving as an important lesson to society today. During Siddhartha 's time with the Samanas, his goal is to shed his Self and become devoid of all earthly desires.

Because of its commonality, popular culture both reflects and influences the people’s way of life; because it is linked to a specific time and place, popular culture is transitory, subject to change, and often and initiator of change. Since it affects every people’s life, it is a hard task for us, aspiring teachers to be the artisan of the Filipino youth for we are the one who will mould their character and through this powerful tool, we can be able to manage smoothly if we have enough knowledge about this. Popular culture and fictional entertainment media have an enormous influence on society. Whether in the genre of television sitcom or drama, or fictional stories in popular film, the entertainment media teach us something about ourselves as we map new meaning onto our own experience based on what we see and relate to; for good or for ill, it also teaches us a lot about others through fictional means (Tisdell, 2004). Both groups are excellent with samplings. At the time in which sampling became the mainstream, people worried that whether this will lead hip-hop music to innovation or regression. According to Perry, “hip-hop music concerns itself with both the self and the we” (Perry 31). I think both group presented their creativity in their songs. In Fight the Power, Public Enemy uses samples from Different Strokes by Syl Johnson, Funky Drummer by James Brown and Fight the Power by The Isley Brothers (“Public Enemy - Fight the Power”).

I’m searching the web for music like any other day, and suddenly I see Tupac pop up in my rap playlist. Of all the different artists I had come across, I hadn’t discovered one like Tupac. His music captivated me with positive lyrics that had powerful meaning behind them. His intelligent views on those subjects and how he spoke on them is the reason why he had great power over how I adhere to my own morals today.
