Humans don’t learn from their mistakes of torture. The bombing of Hiroshima was not only a moving event in history it can also feel overlooked. As big as the bombing was Hiroshima perhaps didn’t move people enough so that people might stop the bombing seeing how it affected so many people’s lives economically and emotionally. John Hersey wrote of the nuclear testing in different countries to show that people don’t learn from their mistakes and normalized bombings.
The bombing of Hiroshima felt by the people seemed to be their fault, however in reality there was nothing the people of Hiroshima could have done. The bombing was not their fault and even then the victims or Hibakusha had to live with consequences of society not brought on by themselves
