Hollywood V.S. Bollywood is a documentary that shows the differences of some film styles of Bollywood and some film styles of Hollywood. These differences will be followed and supported by the differences between the American and Indian culture. The two films that will be examined are an American film “The Fault in Our Stars” and an Indian film “Masala Garam”. The documentary will show the differences with the help of examples from, mostly, the two films mentioned above. Followed by the shot of them laughing together in the restaurant, kissing in the Anne Frank museum and finishing with the shot of Hazel crying. Narrator: When the director makes you comfortable and makes you relate to the character, you will live with them and share their pain. As a very good example is the movie The Fault in our Stars. Herein we get to meet Hazel, whose life is not exciting or nice at all until she meets this boy named Augustus. He changes her life and makes her happy again until he dies. During the film some aspects such as ethics underlines in the story. For example, the protagonist, Charlie, is an ethical young woman, but is not shown doing any ethical acts because she ties on as a young girl a lot of responsibility, that she does not have enough life knowledge to handle yet. She is the oldest daughter in her family, and was named after her mother 's favorite sibling, whom she has a lot of similarities with. The catharsis in the film is what is happening to the characters, and the viewers are comprehending the conflict they are going through. For Charlie there is no catharsis because she lives a mundane life, and is looking for some excitement by wishing her uncle will visit.

Starting off, our relationships with other people tells us who we are and how we act towards one another. Sometimes you act nice with someone, but other times you may act in a heated or angry manner with another person. On the outside, a person could be really nice, but when you truly get to know them, they may change into a new person. Other times, people act like the way they do because of their past. The reason why they act like that is because of what they have been through or what they have witnessed.
