Roughly 300,000 of those people are children. Homelessness alters people 's lives in many ways. It is an epidemic that is beginning to spread into the industrialized countries. “The world of the homeless is a tough and interesting world.” says actor Paul Dano. There’s a lot that happens around the world that we cannot control.
Water pollution is an epidemic in China. Most of the pollution comes from companies that try to recycle the waste, but all they end up doing is more harm to the environment. China recycles everything from plastic to electronic parts. More cancer is popping up in villages due to the contaminated water. From the water they drink to the water they use to wash their clothes, all of it has harsh chemicals in it.
One example of this is the fact that millions of people in today’s society still commit crime. Now affordable housing never promised to stop crime. However the affordable housing is weakening the cities that they populate via crime .The crime wave that comes along with affordable housing is unbearable according to Howard.” Social maladies—crime, drug abuse, pregnancy among unwed teenagers—are concentrated in, and sometimes exacerbated by, public housing” ( par. 12 ). The social disorder within the public housing spreads and destroys the community and economy around it .Stealing and robbing from local businesses and disrupting the natural flow of the community are examples of how local communities are treated when they allow and the government gives them public housing developments.

Every day on the news there are all kinds of reports. Crime reports are a major part of today's events. Almost every day there are posts about crimes. The level of crime has risen immensely in every corner of the world. People have tried to understand the causes of crime, but if we look around the world we can see that many of the crimes are caused by people who abuse drugs and alcohol, people who think negatively towards others, and poverty.
Not only is it able to cause many life-threatening diseases, one being cancer, secondhand smoke is being exposed to babies and children, which can harm their health in a variety of ways, and it is responsible for killing hundreds of thousands of Americans per year in the United States! Yes, some may argue that with the complete removal of tobacco, America would have an immense decrease in terms of their money and sales which they make off of tobacco, and thus it could be harmful to the economy in a sense. However, I am certain that another method could be found in order to replace the sales made from tobacco. All of these reasons are valid for making smoking illegal. Why would we want a toxic, dangerous inhalant available for use by people when it is not helping or doing any good to anyone or anything?
Specific purpose: To persuade my audience to be more involved in homelessness in Memphis TN. Central idea: To donate their time and effort to help the homeless. introduction Whether it’s from starvation, mental illness or even cold even climate change, the homelessness has to deal with these types of situation every day. Homelessness has increase dramatically in our city, and with poverty rates increasing it is no surprise. last time I saw a homeless man asking me for money, and I would ask myself weather to give him money, but then I would not know what he would use it for, maybe he would spend it on alcohol, cigar, or even drugs.
Furthermore, another effect that Homeless people are putting on the public, is their dead corpses. Mortality rates go up during the summer and winter due to the heat and the cold. Arrest rates also go up as well, because homeless people are most likely to commit crimes due to the circumstances of the weather they’re in. Most of the time when the homeless people can’t find the shelter they often die off in the streets or somewhere in the open in public. It’s not a secret, usually, there’s news coverage of homeless people passing out in the streets.
We have been reminded of this in 2014 in Minnesota. Anti-vaccination activists had been “targeting” new Somali immigrants. The immigrants who were misinformed and told that vaccines were causing high rates of autism in the community. Because they were not vaccinated many cases of measles started to develop. It soon grew into an outbreak all over the state.

They are mistaking waste as food and choking on it or getting tangled in it. Littering cost bunches of money to hire people to clean it up. Most importantly, litter can harm people. This can occur by causing fires, accidents, and even spreading disease. Littering has great effects on neighborhoods.
