I would like to either be working professionally or possibly continuing my education and pursuing a graduate's program. If I were to proceed with my schooling, I would still like to be working professionally after I have completed it. My final goal has always been to stage manage a Broadway production but, I don't have to spend my whole life there. I think I would be fun to travel across America with a tour of a production, or working across the ocean on West End. Also, this is a weird dream, but I would love to work at the Fords Theatre in Washington DC because I'd love to work with such a historic space.
This was a big moment for me because I never knew that what I was doing as an RA could be/lead to a professional job that is so oriented around helping others and being involved in the college lifestyle. I absolutely love being an RA and working with students and being a leader to them. I also truly love getting to work with others who have the same passion and drive that I do within this job. I believe that STARS is something that can help connect me with others in the realms of student affairs. I love getting to work with the people here at UNI, but I also want to learn more from others who may have completely different experiences.
My desires to be affiliated with the honors college are due to my intentions to raise my potential as a student. I was bred to be a hard worker, the most important lesson I captured from high school is that there is always room to expand your knowledge. You are only as good as the people surrounding
You’ll need to travel pretty far to find someone who doesn’t know who Sharon Stone is. Her roles in movies such as Casino, Basic Instinct and Total Recall made her a household name and she enjoyed critical success during the 1990’s. But before she was a star, she was just a middle-class girl from Middle America, who enjoyed reading and putting on shows for her neighbors and family. Sharon was an academically gifted child who finished high school at 15 and went on to study at university. After winning numerous modeling contests she joined Fords Modelling Agency where she enjoyed a successful modeling career but Sharon was hungry for something more and knew she wanted to be an actress.
Being an active member of the community that surround us is a priority in today’s society. Therefore, having the opportunity to assist seminars, partake in internships, study abroad or simply engage myself in activities where I will be able to discuss current issues and network with the leaders of today and tomorrow, is definitely one of those experiences that I’m looking forward the most. In addition, I believe that being part of such a diverse program and university will offered me the necessary tools to emerge as a more understanding, caring and accepting human being. I believe that The Honors College will be able to continuously feed my intellectual curiosity and my desire to become a better global citizen. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that studying in your university may present, and will definitely value the opportunity of adding a bit of myself to your institution while hopefully being able to conquer new obstacles through my
[Cultures] are so unique. Every country, every small group has it’s own uniqueness... You kind of see it everywhere. Another thing is, it really ‘lights my fire’ to see students connecting in ways with a culture they may have written off or put in the background...when I see that kind of growth in a person's relationship with another culture… that’s why I do what I do.” I love diversity and desire for others to embrace diversity as well, this is why I want to teach others about cultural anthropology. So many americans don’t realize how vast and different but beautiful foreign cultures are; absence of this knowledge is a complete disadvantage. Being culturally aware allows for individuals to be more open-minded, more understanding and more compassionate towards others.
Finish college no matter what. Try not to get so discouraged and give up because in your hard work you reap the benefit” After the interview I was even more certain that I wanted to attend college. I want to go to college because I want a degree in music. I plan on traveling the world and sharing my gift of music with people from all over the world. Most importantly I want to raise the standard for young colored males and show the world what a young educated male teen like myself can
One of my dreams is to be part of The National Honors Society and be part of the family; I am already part of The Spanish Language Honors Society and want to further build upon my academic career. I have demonstrated leadership, service, character, and scholarship and I hope to be inducted into the society. Even after I get inducted into the society, I will continue to volunteer in my society; as of this summer, I hope to be volunteering at Atlanticare. Volunteering in my community has been a great experience and I can not wait to extend it with a new chapter of my High School career. I am beyond thankful for being part of the first chapter of The National Honors Society and hope you will consider my
I would like to be a member of the Honors Program as I feel that I am a person that exudes what should be expected of an Honors Student. I have the personal belief that any member of the Honors Program should be hardworking, dedicated, diligent, and enjoy a challenge. Sure, I can just take regular courses like other students, but I am not like any other student. I enjoy a challenge. I am hard working.
In high school I was a member of the National Honors Society, which required extra service projects and activities during the year. If I am to become a member of the Honors Program at Fairfield, I would look forward to continue the rigorous studies that the program has to offer. As my senior year in high school was coming to an end, I had the difficult decision of picking a college that would further my knowledge and development as a person. I choose Fairfield because I believed it would be the perfect place to continue my quest for knowledge and development. Of all the programs offered at this University I believe that the Honors Program is the perfect opportunity to continue my
Fans of Jazz were going crazy telling her that Caitlyn is really lucky to have got the chance to meet her. Back in July, E! Online shared that Jazz Jennings said that she couldn 't wait to meet Caitlyn Jenner. It may have taken several months, but it has finally happened. Jazz shared that she was really proud of Caitlyn and then went on to share more about her thoughts.
To live, study and work with students like me from all across Arkansas, would not only be an honor but an extraordinary and challenging experience for my mental capabilities. Attending ASMSA would be a great opportunity to thoroughly express my hard work ethic and dedication. With my persistence, I could accomplish anything and everything. I believe that by attending ASMSA, I would better help prepare myself for my future and make extraordinary achievements. My role as part of the ASMSA community would not simply be a student, but rather be an achiever.
I chose to attend community college in the United State because of two reasons. First, I am an international student. My purpose is not only school but also new cultural. I do not want I become a person who have high knowledge but without any experiments. I think, “If I choose community college to begin my study in the United State, I will have more time to learn about the habits and customs of the US” and I am happy because I did that decision.
