The role of housing industry towards the betterment of people’s life cannot be understated. People of all income levels whether high, middle, and low income earners are the beneficiaries of the advancements made in the Malaysian housing industry. It has always been in high demand in Malaysia due to population, economic and industrial growth (Mohd Razali, 2001). Despite the rising prices, the higher demands of housing of the Malaysian house buyers over the decades reflect the importance of home ownership to the Malaysians (Hanafi, 2015).

Product quality and service quality of a house are two important factors that contribute to the success of any housing project which ultimately giving impact on the house buyers’ satisfaction and also contributing to the private developers’ profit and market shares. For example, in buying a residential apartment, not all apartment buyers’ had a good experience still some of them were suffered quietly. Most of the studies focused on the implementation of BTS and the difference with BTS and STB on performance which are related with the construction process. However, there were no studies or researches on house buyers’ satisfaction level towards STB and BTS system especially on strata housing. As such, a systematic study and further research is necessary to identify the house buyers’ satisfaction level towards STB and BTS 10:90 system based on the quality of the house for strata housing. This study will look into house buyers’ intention and key factors in the selection process of the systems. Also, this study will be looking into the characteristics that compels customers in purchasing strata housing
