How Did Abigail Adams Contribute To Greek Leadership

Leadership, a word associated with bold and recorded act of an individual that made a lasting impact in some shape or form. In times such as trial and new beginning, great leaders emerge which are sometime immortalized by the passing time due to their legacy; however, not all who lead are necessarily bold and can lost in time and the ideology of the day. This is the case of Abigail Adam. Abigail Adam is woman hailed as a hero of feminism due to her personal writing to her famous husband, John Adams. Yet, when came to her actual work as a mother and the First Lady, she isn’t quite hailed as the ideal feminists. Her legacy lives on through her letters and through her husband and son. With her accomplishments, she has demonstrated her ability to be not only as a mother and wife but also as a correspondent, a writer, a teacher, a First Lady and a confidant. As a writer, she provided important information about the political climate and gave John some sage advice. Abigail was ashamed of her letter though. She at one point asked John to destroy her letters due to poor grammar but thankfully he refused (Drive Thru History America: Foundations of Character); it was good to since her contained such gem that define her morales and her level of understanding:
