Alexander the Great is often referred to as one of the most powerful and the greatest leader of the world has ever seen. He achieved a great deal in his leadership role and military expeditions. In a span of twelve years, Alexander was able to take control of the Persian Empire, conquer Egypt and a large part of the Middle East. Alexander enjoyed the finest education of that time, molding him into a leader that his father, Philip II would have wanted. The Greek philosopher Aristotle helped to expand Alexander’s knowledge in science and philosophy of the modern world. Alexander came into power as King of Macedonia after the assassination of his father. During his 12 year reign, Alexander built new cities, conquered new territories
