Benjamin Franklin did a great many things He invented he was a leading author printed newspapers made a number of discoveries and much more.

When he was a scientist he invented things like the lightning rod, bifocals, the Franklin Stove and more. But those were the most popular things he invented He Became a newspaper writer and editor and was the 6th president of Pennsylvania.

He started many civic organizations such as Philadelphia’s fire department and The University of Pennsylvania. He earned the tidal “The First American” and was promoted post-master general for British colonies in 1753 and more.
