The reason they were called Death Marches is because many Jews died on these marches. (Rogasky, Barbara Smoke and Ashes: The Story of the Holocaust) The Nazis had planned this all out. An entire state bureaucracy was created with the task of make sure everything went smoothly as they killed over 6 million Jews and 5 million other undesirables. Undesirables were homesexuals, POWs, Gypsies, and Poltical Prisoners. The Nazis developed the technology and
For example, some of these laws close out Jews from places like parks, fired them from their jobs (i.e. government jobs), and Jewish doctors can only work for Jewish patients. During the night on November 9-10, 1938, Nazis started a pogrom against Jews in Austria and Germany in what hat they called, "Kristallnacht" also known as ("Night of Broken Glass"). The savage night involved the taking away and destroying of synagogues, sabotaging the windows of Jewish businesses, rob their stores, and they physically attacked many Jewish too. Also, about 30,000 Jews were sent to the concentration camps after arrested.
Could you imagine being one of the many victims that were beaten, starved, and tortured to death in a concentration camp? The Holocaust was a genocide that took place in Germany, lasting 4 years. The leader was Adolf Hitler, who believed there was a ‘Jewish Problem’. This genocide took place from 1941-1945, in concentration camps surrounding Poland. The Nazi Party was founded in 1919 and shortly after, Hitler became the leader in 1921.
The Holocaust was the extermination of six million innocent European Jews (The‘’Final Solution’’). It was a calculated, devious plan made by Nazi Germany to gather and eventually murder all European Jews (The’’ Final Solution’’). It occurred in Germany, Austria, and Poland, countries in the mainland of Europe (Stewart 9). Germany and Italy were the countries behind the Holocaust in Europe (Stewart 9). The victims of the Holocaust comprised of many different factions of people, including the Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, trade unionists, and political opponents of the Nazis.
Killing Centers; An Undesirable Creation of Death. World War II started when German soldiers entered Poland on September 1, 1939. When Germany invaded Poland, Britain and France took charge on Germany on September 3 (Killing Centers). The Holocaust was a state- sponsored prosecution of millions of Jews led by Adolf Hitler in January 1933. When The Nazi’s took power in 1933 they thought that they were racially superior and Jewish people weren’t (Introduction To The Holocaust).
The Nazi’s and the swatzika are very bad things. The Nazi’s killed over six million Jewish men, women, and children and 60 million people died in World War II which lasted for six years. Adolph Hitler was voted in as German Chancellor in 1933. He then created the Nazi party with its Swastika as a symbol for the Nazi party meaning racial purity. An evil disgusting dictator named Adolf Hitler built concentration camps and tortured and killed millions and millions of innocent people including men, women, and children.
Both of these insane dictators annihilated millions of people, even their own people for unjustified reasons. The Holocaust eradicated over six million Jews and two-thirds of the population in Europe. Under Hitler’s rule, the Jews, and other minorities were tortured, dehumanized, starved, shot, gassed, and incinerated. Pol Pot’s people were tortured just as the Jews when he targeted and killed almost a half-million Chinese for no reason. In the Holocaust, many Jews died just from the walk from one concentration camp to another.
Firstly, the Nazis began boycotting Jewish stores and businesses on April 1st, 1933. This stripped Jews of many rights, like civil service, education, culture, and farming rights. Then, in 1935, the Nuremberg Laws were introduced. Jews were not allowed to marry non-Jews and were stripped of citizenship. Next, starting from November 9, 1938, the Nazis began terrorizing Jews. They killed dozens, destroyed Jew-owned buses, burned synagogues, beat Jews in the streets, attacked them in their homes, and
This event was similar to slavery with the Native Americans when they were held against their will when the white men was taking over. The holocaust with the jews is an example of hatred and genocide . I believe the holocaust is one of the worst event that happen to mankind history because of the nuremberg laws, propaganda, and anti-semitism There is a lot of things the germans did to make the jews suffer.
Hitler had a harsh opinion of Jews that turned his hate into an obsession. Many historians believe that the reasons behind his anti-Semitism prove that he was an insane man who blamed Jews for all the evil in the world. Hitler’s belief led to the Holocaust that killed millions of people after World War I. One of the biggest theory of why Hitler hated Jews, was because he believed them to be the cause of Germany’s loss in WWI. Hitler believes Jews were behind the ultimate victory of the Allies.
