He fought in the Revolutionary War, believe in freedom and fought for it, and even wrote the Declaration of Independence.
He didn't want to be prisoned as a result of speaking out against British law; his obscurity was for the best, for it was the concepts in his work that quickly became popular and eventually turned Common Sense a bestseller in America during that time period. The pamphlet spread through the colonies with a distinct meaning: America needs to be liberated from Britain. Thomas Paine's work became popular for many reasons, but the most important being he used arguments, allusions and vernacular that the average person could understand. This pamphlet inspired many people to get involved in the struggle for freedom. It also prepared the Americans for the writing of the Declaration of Independence; one of the most important documents in human history.

This progressive man is commonly remembered as the man who wrote the Declaration of Independence. Although he called slavery an abomination, Jefferson was a slave owner. He also fathered children through an affair with one of his slaves.
Every man or woman who chose to stand and fight for this country should be considered a war hero because not every person makes life-altering decisions like that. A final reason why Paul Revere should be considered a Revolutionary War hero is because Paul used his businesses to support the Revolutionary cause. He manufactured gunpowder for use with our troops and printed money which benefited all the colonists. He also opened a copper rolling mill and was able to make copper sheeting for the USS Constitution.
The Declaration of Independence is an extremely well written document that our country has abided by since the year 1776. It was written by Thomas Jefferson beautifully, with several rhetorical devices. These devices help pull the reader into further believing what the Jefferson is trying to tell them. The first rhetorical device to address is Jefferson’s use of imagery. They aren’t seen to commonly but there are to Prime examples of it within this document.

Some of these people were not even American, one of them was Marquis De Lafayette, a French aristocrat who joined the Revolutionary War on his own request (The Marquis 1). Lafayette played a big part in getting France to agree to ally with the Americans, was one of the most successful leaders in combat for the American Revolutionary War, and one of George Washington 's most trusted friends. Marquis De Lafayette was born September 6, 1757, in Chavaniac, France, into a family of noble military lineage (Marquis De 1). His birth name was Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roche Gilbert du Motier (The Marquis 1).
To Jefferson this was his most meaningful contribution to his nation. In 1776 Jefferson was tasked to write the rough draft so that the congress can debate on it. While writing the Declaration of Independence he came up with, “All men are created equal and have the inalienable right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.” His words inspired many other people who help create the declaration of Independence and stand up for what they believe. Everyone was excited to read what he has written and often always agreed with him.
Founding Brothers by Joseph J. Ellis is a historically based book that explains in great detail how America came to be. In other words, the preface mentions major events, facts and people that helped make America. Some major events are The American Revolution, meetings and arguments of different groups, meetings about slavery. Many prominent people are stated. These prominent people include Abigail and John Adams, Aaron Burr, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and George Washington.
Pinckney had two wives which he probably made very happy and four children who probably adored him. In the end, Pinckney was a hero. He definitely died knowing that he had done something for his country, and hopefully was happy as it all ended. Pinckney was a very admirable man.
-George Mason was an influential American patriot and a framer of the Constituion. He attended the Constitution Convention and helped draft the final product, adding his strong opinions and ideas. He didn’t actually sign it but his participation was crucial. Thomas Jefferson was one of the most important individuals in a history of the United States. He was the one who was involved in a recovery and development of this country as well as other important dignitaries. He was also one of the other supporters for declaration of the American independence to against British political ideals. That were his political beginnings. In 1800, Jefferson was elected and became the president after that year.
