There are many great leaders that have had great impact on several different industries. Jerry Colangelo is one of those leaders who had a great impact on the sports industry, most notably owner of the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association, also known as the NBA. He was involved with the Phoenix Suns in different capacities since 1968, when he became the youngest General Manager in sports at the time. In 1987, Colangelo and a group of investors purchased majority ownership of the team and Colangelo continued to serve as Team Chairman and CEO.
