One of Bryant's goals was to be a positive impact on younger kids' lives by speaking to them about the road ahead and how to succeed, doing that he hoped that it would lead them right on the road ahead (Schaefer, 2002.) An influence can come from a thing, especially a speech. By Bryant being a celebrity, him taking time to talk to kids can mean a lot more than someone they don’t know. His words will probably stick with them more throughout life. This article says, “He embraced the role, telling Jimmy Kimmel that his goal was to give the girls ‘a foundation of the amount of work and preparation that it takes to be excellent’” (Gregory, 2020). This is another example of taking the time to help kids he may not even know succeed and have a fulfilling life. This is so influential because maybe those kids don’t have that person in life to help them, and for him to take on that role for hundreds of kids is amazing.
