Mother Teresa changed the way everyone treated the poor and sick people by helping them, getting them an education and building facilities for the poor and sick. There are a lot of people that have done many accomplishments, but Mother Teresa believed in helping the less inforchanet and letting them have a good healthy life and a good education. Mother Teresa was inspired by Loreto Sisters and their accomplishments with teaching at the school for girls and Mother Teresa was committed to teaching girls from the city 's poorest Bengali families.In the 21st century, Mother Teresa will impact society by helping the poor and sick and letting them have a wonderful education, places to stay healthy and well. In 1971, Mother Teresa traveled to New York City to open her first American based house of charity. In the summer of 1982, she went to Beirut, Lebanon, where she crossed between Christian East Beirut and Muslim West Beirut to help children of both faiths. In 1985, Mother Teresa returned to New York and spoke at the 40th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly. While, Mother Teresa was there she also opened Gift of Love, a home to care for those infected with HIV/AIDS.In February 1965, Pope Paul VI decreased the Decree of Praise upon the Missionaries of Charity, which made Mother Teresa begin expanding internationally. Mother Teresa changed the 21st century to today by making an open - aired school, “Missionaries of Charity”,leper colony, an orphanage, a nursing home, a family clinic and a string of mobile health clinics and lots more. This helped the 21 century by helping the sick and poor. Also having more facilities open for the poor and unfortunate. Another reason why Mother Teresa changed the 21st century was because he never gave up on helping the poor and sick. Also her donations and her Missionaries for Charity carried on for a very long time throughout history. This is now helping our our century by still helping the unforcant and sick. Another reason why is because it helps our century be a better place by knowing that Mother Teresa help the poor and sick so we should also help the poor and sick as well. Today some of Mother Teresa 's building are still up today like Saint Mary 's school for girls. The orphanage she built and some of her other facilities she built as well with peoples help.We really give thanks to Mother Teresa who helped our century by knowing that she was there for us and that she really loved and cared for the others and loved helping the
