The neighbor heard Nicole dogs was barking in crying while they were watching television, and they ran out and saw 2 bodies were found lying at the floor and the stairs. O.J Simpson went back home and got ready to leave to Chicago. The F.B.I forensic team came to the crime scene and also went to O.J Simpsons house as he was the primary suspect of the murder. F.B.I forensic manage to find numerous evidence where the strongest evidence were the footprint which on the blood and also the 3 blood DNA matches the DNA found on O.J Simpson gloves and also the fibre that were found in his hat. However the trial took place for a long period and at the end of the trial O.J Simpson was found innocent. However, another trial took place and this moment of time the shoe print that were found on the blood spatter DNA matches and O.J Simpsons were found guilty. The evidence found and had DNA on it was the blood spatter, blood on the socks, hair found on the hat and also blood that were in the vehicle that was being drove by O.J
Crime scene investigators noted signs of a struggle left under Estelle’s nails. After it was already too late, DNA testing determined the skin found under her fingernails was not a match to Blair but rather a match to the other suspect at the time of the original investigation. The expert DNA testimony at Blair’s trial consisted of fibers and hair found in his vehicle, on his person, and at an unrelated park was circumstantial and eventually disproven by DNA
They also found that Kercher's DNA had not been present on the knife found at Soleccito's flat.(Amanda Knox 2). This proof implies that Knox and Sollecito cannot be guilty unless further investigation proves the previous claim wrong. There were many controversial evidences that turned out to be supporting that Knox is not guilty. The knife that was the supposed "murder weapon" had no blood on it, it didn't match any of the wounds made on Meredith's body, and the knife couldn't have made the bloody imprint that was on the bed. Forensic Scientists never stated that the luminal indicated that it was blood, nor was there any blood found in the apartment that connected the two to the murder, therefore this is also an unreliable source to use for the
When Sarah stated “There was nothing linking him to the crime, no DNA, no fibers, no hairs, no matching soil from the bottom of his boots' (Koenig, Ep 1) It shows how hard the detectives looked for physical proof but found nothing. There was also no video footage or any accommodating witnesses. This doesn’t sit right with me because the state relied solely on Jay's statement which shouldnt be the only evidence to lock someone up, especially in a murder case. Going to jail on the charges and consequences for homicide can ruin a possibly innocent person's life, they should be innocent until proven guilty, and the state needs to be more cautious when sentencing people.
The state's most compelling evidence is that of the coat, they found evidence of Mr. Rodgers DNA on the bottom of the coat. The problem with this is that the defense proved the point that if he had murdered Mr. Rodgers, then blood would have been all over the jacket, which there wasn’t. Equally important to point out is that they should have searched for shoes, and pants when they scoured his house. Considering they both should have had blood residue or particulates on them. They stated that he could have taken the jacket off, but it’s a suspicion.
The day after the murder OJ Simpson had fresh cuts on his body (http://law2.umkc.edu/facility/porjects/ftrials/simspon/evidence.html). OJ Simpson acted really weird when the police called him to inform him about Nicole Brown’s death (http://law2.umkc.edu/facility/porjects/ftrials/simspon/evidence.html). Simpson tried and blamed another guy, which was his friend, named Charlie (http://law2.umkc.edu/facility/porjects/ftrials/Simpson/Simpson.htm). Investigators should have found more evidence at the crime scene, because everyone knew that OJ Simpson did kill his wife and her friend, Ronald
”(1) His DNA was all over the case. Since the case had lasted so long, eight months to be exact, the courts decided that “it needed to end”(1). Therefore, on October 3, 1995 he faced trial and was proven “Not Guilty”(1). People of the courts were surprised at what they heard and didn't understand why, but it was said that Mr. Simpson “Was ordered to pay more than $33 million for their wrongful deaths.
(Linder, “Orenthal J. Simpson”).His central motivation was Jealousy. When His ex dated his rival he became jealous. We find out about this through Linder telling us this in his article. 11 of the 12 murder victims that were examined during the trial had "hair and fiber matches" with Williams' surroundings that were so convincing that these victims could be definitively
The cases of O.J. Simpson and Lizzie Borden are two court cases in American history that are 100 years apart, conversely are very parallel. On both occasions the verdict comes to be the same: not guilty. Circumstantial evidence, which is defined as evidence that relies on an inference to connect it to a conclusion or fact, was heavily utilized in the process of prosecuting both subjects. Both Orenthal James Simpson and Lizzie Borden should be found guilty of murder due to the continuous number of things that prove their guilt.
The O.J. Simpson case was a different one because he was a celebrity. The celebrity status made all the difference in the case, as most people had diverse views on the case. As a famous individual, the media also had the chance to broadcast the trial and give differences of opinion on the case. The celebrity status had a significant influence in the O.J. Simpson case as the public had to struggle with an image he had created for many years. People knew O.J. Simpson as a footballer and an actor with a charming character impossible to hurt anyone.
The only clothing on the crime scene had belonged to Jamie, his yellow cloth from his sweater had been all over the crime scene. The detective, Mattie Gunderson had stated that all the evidence did lead to the investigation of Jamie Rogers, which is why the accused had been charged. The defence had also argued that Devon Moore didn’t think that Jamie was the murder which is an opinionated statement. There is no hard evidence that Jamie isn’t guilty, the evidence all points to Jamie Rogers. The blood found on Jamie's clothing had belonged to Pasternak and given the situation the two were in, there was tension between the two.
OJ Simpson is Indeed Innocent “If it doesn’t fit, you have to acquit,” this quote said by one of OJ Simpson’s attorneys, Johnny Cochran, is widely known for its impact on the controversial case of OJ Simpson. From 1994-1995 OJ Simpson was known as one of the most controversial cases in the USA due to the verdict that OJ was innocent of the murders of his ex wife and one of her friends. On June 12, 1994 Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman met an untimely demise, and the only suspect the police ever reviewed was OJ Simpson. OJ was later caught in a low speed chase in a white Ford Bronco before being taken into custody and put on trial. In the sensationally controversial court case involving OJ Simpson as a suspect for murder, The innocent ruling
Another crucial piece of evidence is that the crime scene showed a major struggle so the murderer would have been severely bruised, and all OJ had on him was a
O.J. Simpson was a famous football player and that was accused of killing his ex-wife nicole brown , also her boyfriend Ron Goldman. They were brutally stabbed to death on June 12, 1994 at the resident of Nicole brown condo in Brentwood. Before the bodies were ever recovered Oj had packed his bags and caught a flight to Chicago, later he received a phone call saying that Nicole Brown was murder. The cops wanted to talk to him and later he had lead the cops on a hot pursuit chase and they apprehended him. OJ Simpson should be held accountable for murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.
Unfortunately, the defense flipped the trial into a race-related trial claiming the police were corrupt and the major mistake was allowing O.J. to try on the blood-soaked glove where the famous line “if the glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the
