In history Rosa Parks changed something major for people with colored skin. She refused to give up her seat at the front of the bus, this let colored people not have to sit at the back of the bus. Second act of compassion I have seen at school. We had an emergency drill and all the little kids were freaking out. So the eighth graders stepped up and helped them calm down and find where they needed to be. This made an impact because, they were brave enough to step up and help others in distress. Finally, in my life, my grandfather helped my dad pay for a new car a truck. This made an impact because now my dad can drive me places and he can get to work and make money to support his family.
