Susan B. Anthony played a major role in giving women the right to vote. She dedicated her life and never gave up on getting women civil rights. Women's voting privileges were extremely controversial during Ms. Anthony’s time. Every women should be very thankful that Susan Anthony had the courage to stand up and fight for their natural rights. Without Susan, women would not have the right to vote, including minorities. The permission to vote was restricted to only wealthy white men because they were seen as superior to everyone else. Susan B. Anthony thought that people who agreed with how civil rights subsists, were too stubborn or too scared to see that it was not fair. Susan Anthony had a partner to help her fight for women’s rights. Anthony started campaigning for equality when she was quite young and never gave up, quit, or took no for an answer. Many women looked up to her because she was extremely strong and inspiring. She is still a role model for many women, young and old. She represents someone that fought for what they believed in even when no one else did. Susan B. Anthony passed away on March 13, 1903 at the age of eighty-six.The right for women to vote was not a privilege Ms. Anthony witnessed before she died, but women’s suffrage still seen as a victory that she accomplished. “When Anthony died on March 13, 1906, women still did not have the right to vote." Women did not have very many freedoms before Susan Anthony and other activists up and fought for their rights. It takes a lot of courage for someone to stand up for what they believe in without the support of very many people..She has a trial for voting without the right to vote in which she made a lot of progress in her campaign for women’s rights.
