Today people could realize that someone they don’t like showed up at the party and want them to leave. Also Tybalt says to Romeo, “Boy. Your words can’t excuse the harm you’ve done to me. So now turn and draw your sword.” People today can’t forgive people for what they’ve done in the past.
Since Friar John did not deliver the message, Romeo's messenger heard Juliet had died and Romeo went to see her. When he reached her tomb, he killed himself by drinking a potion. When Juliet awoke with Friar Laurence, who then left without her, and she stabbed herself. Some people might say Friar Laurence is not at fault for this because he might have thought she was following, but he still should have checked. Since the beginning of Romeo and Juliet, both Romeo and Juliet had been extremely emotional and overdramatic.
Friar Laurence is to blame because of his devious and secretive nature. First, Friar Laurence agrees to perform a forbidden marriage without Romeo and Juliet’s family’s approval. Friar Laurence states, “In one respect, I’ll thy assistant to be; For this alliance may so happy prove to turn your household’s rancor to pure love” (Shakespeare 1031). This quote displays Friar Laurence’s devious nature because he had agreed to marry Romeo and Juliet, thinking that it would solve the rivalry between the two families even though it was against who he was, his morals, and his religion. In addition to him simply agreeing to marry the two, Friar Laurence
The servant is running around frantically because he does not know how to read; he needs to read an invitations for his lord Capulet. Romeo ends up reading the invitation list; for this servant. Romeo asks the servant “Who’s supper?” The servant than states that “Now I’ll tell you without asking. My master is the/ great rich Capulet; and if you be not of/ Montagues, I pray come and crush a cup of wine.
Death and tragedy engulf the people of Verona, who is to blame for this big mess? If you go back to the beginning of William Shakespeare 's play “Romeo and Juliet” it is easy to see this tragedy wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for Mercutio and his tendency to meddle in other people’s lives. First he convinced Romeo that his love for Rosaline wasn’t worth it and he needed to get over her. He then led Romeo to his horrific fate when he forced Romeo to crash the Capulet party, where he would first meet his future bride Juliet.
Some may think that it is Friar´s fault, for making the plan to get Romeo and Juliet married. And it can also be said that it is Benvolio 's who helped Romeo meet Juliet by taking him to the party. However, this is not true because it is Romeo who follows through these plans or advises to make these plans due to his unwise decisions. Afterall, he asked Friar to marry them ¨I’ll tell thee as we pass, but this I pray: That thou consent to marry us today¨ (Shakespeare 2.3.63-64).
There are numerous clues and small details that point to Lord Capulet and Friar Laurence being accountable for the Romeo and Juliet’s death. Lord Capulet forced his daughter into marrying Paris, though she strongly dissents the idea. After she finally “agrees”, He is so thrilled that he moves up the wedding, ruining the plan. Friar Laurence is guilty due to him coming up with a cumbersome plan and leaving Juliet alone, to save himself from the watch. In Conclusion, Lord Capulet and Friar Laurence are responsible for the loss of Romeo and
The Friar married Romeo and Juliet, made ‘’poison” for Juliet to take, and didn’t get the letter to Romeo on time . It all started when Romeo first saw Juliet at a party that he crashed. They had spoke for bit and had fallen in love with each other. They had decided that the following day they would get married.
After Ramfis goes up to her quickly and tries to stop her and gets the bow and breaks it and makes her go up to Minerva and untie her with her teeth. This shows a great theme for power because if Sinita would of shot Trujillo it would of been all bad because it would of caused a big rebellion. In the story during the play all the kids were going to perform for Trujillo and it almost went wrong. At the point when Sinitta is supposed to step forward to show off her bow and arrow she breaks the script and walks up to Trujillo and points at him.
Pardoned or Punished Have you ever read Romeo and Juliet and wondered who should be punished for their deaths? In the book Romeo and Juliet written by Shakespeare and guy named Romeo and a girl named Juliet met at a party and get married the next day but can not tell people because their families are in a feud. Juliet’s father Lord Capulet tries to make her marry someone else. This makes her go to Friar Lawrence, the one who married her and Romeo, and he gives her potion that will bring her close to death. Romeo thinks she is dead and kills himself.
Tybalt sent a letter to Romeo saying that there is going to be a battle between the two, but the letter never gets to Romeo. Mercutio is the one who gets the letter and does not tell Romeo. When Tybalt comes to battle Romeo, Mercutio tries to distract Tybalt, so he will not try to fight Romeo, and he gets killed. Romeo is angry with Tybalt, because of what he did to Mercutio, and ends up killing Tybalt. He then felt regret right after he did this, because they are now related through marriage.
The friar 's inability to succesfully delivering the letter to Romeo stating that Juliet was alive was a gap that caused romeo to make his harsh decision, but it was too late once he got to the tomb. Upon killing Paris and himself with the poison, Romeo fell beside Juliet, whom stabbed herself once she awoke upon seeing Romeo dead before her eyes. Had Romeo and Juliet respected their families wishes, had they not gone into secrecy, had their relatives stayed out of their love, they wouldnt have blindly caused
Benvolio, who wanted everyone to be friends, warned the guys not to fight in public. Insults were exchanged, but Romeo remembered that Tybalt is his new wife 's cousin, so he turned the other cheek. Mercutio found this totally shocking, actually dishonorable, so he offered to fight Tybalt instead. They fought and then Romeo tried to intervene, but Tybalt suddenly stabbed Mercutio. Romeo and Benvolio assumed that Mercutio has not been badly hurt because he started joking about his damage but it was no joke.
The reason I think Friar Lawrence should be pardoned is because the whole time he was really just there for Juliet. He was helping her through all the hard times she had been going through since she fell in love with Romeo. Not to mention he had helped to Marry her and Romeo by giving her the vial of herbs to make her appear dead.. I think that he was just trying to bring the family’s together because there brawls were affecting the whole town.
Romeo has many dreams in the play giving messages to Romeo yet Romeo chooses to ignore them, making his own choice instead of fate. Before the Capulet party, Romeo spoke about a dream that someone close to him will die if he proceeds into the party. Instead of listening he decides to continue forward ignoring his dream and choosing his action himself, leading to the death of Mercutio. Romeo caused the Death of Mercutio by ignorantly stepping in between the quarrel of Mercutio and Tybalt, letting Tybalt stab Mercutio under Romeo 's arm. The decisions we can make can cause impacts on others and our lives whether good or bad, it is your choice to make good
