The simplest reasons as to what contributed to the Romans development of a good society was that they had a list of permanent laws that were created to bring order and stability. These laws were comprised into The Twelve Tablets. These tablets were a written form of the laws that applied to every citizen within Rome, whether that be wealthy or poor. By adding different successful governments in one, it was allowed to create a concept like the US’s checks and balances system but within Rome. Considering the time in the Romans society, this concept of checks and balances by combining 3 different forms of government was unheard of but turned out to be a very good idea. This idea of creating structure particularly is highlighted within the Roman family and economics.
