The War of the Roses affected England's throne for many years, by changing the outlook of the country. The conflicts impacted the medieval English life, because there was definitely a resulted in a massive political upheaval and huge changes to the established balance of power. The most obvious effect was the collapse of the Plantagenet dynasty, and its replacement with the new Tudor rulers who changed England over the following years. The War of the Roses was a war that had a very strong effect on England and its future as a country. The war set the path for the start of the English reformation which would change how the world would view England. If it was not for the War of the Roses the England would still be the same as it was before the
War can ruin a county no matter the winner. The amount of money it takes to fuel a war is incrediable. Most often leaving behind major amounts of debt and a county trying to find a way to get there money back. Due to the French and Indian War Britian was in debt and looking for a way to make up there debt quick. Unforconatly for the colonist of the new land this was ment for them.
The French failed to defeat England during the Seven Years War despite the many battles that they have won leading up to this event. They have fought four times prior to this war and four times they were successful. With the power to gain control of the new world both the New France and British Colonies were on the move to claim land. New France began their expansion south while the British Colonies began their expansion west. It was only a matter of time for them to meet which they did on July 3, 1754.
Intoroduction The Revolutionary War was a very important to the world. It showed how strong the British and the continental army was. In order to win the war you had to win a most of the battles. They had great leaders.
It started a war because the Revolution was not very revolutionary. That was the first impact, the war. In document 4 the source
The end of the French and Indiana war can be seen as the start of the issues leading up to the American Revolution. With the British driving the French from North America it basically left Great Britain with control of the continent. This war also left Great Britain in an economic crisis. They now had to not only pay for the war but they needed funds for the constant support they were providing America.
War what is it good for, In the case of the Revolutionary war it gained them their independence and freedom. Looking back at all the facts the British should have never lost they had one of the most powerful armies of the time what caused them to lose? The British lost the revolutionary war because of the distance required to travel, fight, and being the visiting team, lack of allies, and lastly their leaders lacked experience fighting this kind of war. Firstly, the long distance between Britain and America and that the Americans knew the land better were one of the main reasons why the British lost the Revolutionary war.
Like previously said, territorial issues were a big thing, because geography affects the way a country develops economically, more land, more power hence there is more control for the crops and industry in the middle colonies, the farming economy also depends on the slavery that was a very big issue in that time period. After the war William Pitt decided elevated the colonists’ taxes to help pay their debt for the help that Great Britain toasted in the war, even if nobody asked for the help of Great
The American Revolution was one of the most important wars that was fought in the history of the United States. The Patriots and the British had two different views on how things should be run in America. Many people have different opinions on why, where and how the war was started. There were a few key battles that helped to influence the outcome of the war. The outcome of the American Revolutionary War influenced the United States way of Freedom and the way the American people live today.
This was a major turning point economically for both sides. The French coming into the war made it a more economically difficult for the British to continue fighting not only the colonist but the French also then later in the war Spain will also assist the Americans. This made it the Americans economically easier to fight against the British. It was more an economically devastating blow to the British than an advantage to the colonist. The Americans also got assistance to help trained some of the colonist on fighting techniques.
The Revolutionary War was a breakaway for all of us, a method to assume Glory and return home basked in the limelight of Honor, but it soon became apparent that our fragile Nation had no stratagem for the recuperation of our citizens and the Establishment of Government. The Development of Glory from the Blood of the War is a cause turned better by legend. Confronted with the monumental scope of constructing a Country, the leaders we looked up to in the trenches saw to us unfit for national Control, and as our people returned to the throes of life apart from battle, the Stipulations promised upon Patriotism soon became inutile on popular Belief. In the aftermath of the Security promised to us by our Victory, it soon became self-evident that
We may be used to all the freedoms and opportunities we have in the United States today, but that was not always the case. It wasn’t until 1776 until America had finally earned its independence from the British. With colonist gaining frustration and anger from their treatment from Great Britain, they eventually seeked their own independence to govern themselves. This was exceedingly important because it was the first time in history a group was able to break off the powerful British Empire and showed that they weren’t unstoppable.
It appears to me that the largest impact of the American Revolutionary War, as all wars, would be that of death. This war and the one prior had horrible timing as well, being the same time as the smallpox epidemic which was doing widespread killing in itself. Both of these, had a large impact felt by all colonists, soldiers, slaves, men, women, and children, of all races, age, and economic or political status. Widespread infectious diseases can wipe out entire populations. Just as war spears no one; war has no mercy.
4. How did the Great War for Empire change the relationship between England and its American colonies? The Great War for Empire, or Seven Years’ War went on between 1756 and 1763. The unfair taxation of the colonists is what sparked this war; there were also several other political and economic factors, which also played a large part.
The French and Indian War can be argued to have the most effect on altering the relations between Britain and the Colonies. The relationship between these two power houses began very subtle, as England followed through with a policy of salutary neglect toward the Colonies. The consequence of the war caused the Political and the Economic state of Britain to changed dramatically, causing them to act differently towards the Colonies. This made the Ideologies of the colonies change greatly. Becoming a winner of a mass of land was great to reward to Britain, but this caused them to change the way that they were going to govern, especially in North America.
Political, economic, military, and social factors were taken into account during the revolution. These aspects of the war all played a significant role in the outcome of the American Revolution. Since Great Britain was in a tremendous amount of debt, it started social and economic issues with the colonies. The French and Indian War (Seven Years War), fought between the British and the French over the Ohio River Valley was a huge contributing factor to said debt.
