He is commonly categorized as the man who made the first light bulb. Edison was born into a place and time where there was not much technological advancements. His inventions helped many things change in the world.
Without them, America might not be the same. Immigrants positively influenced the fields of science, music, and entertainment to help shape America to what it is today. Many brilliant immigrants have contributed to the field of science. However, one scientist in particular will forever be noted as one of the greatest scientist ever. That scientist is Albert Einstein.

Just about each of his inventions could be considered the most impactful developments in American history. Some of his most renowned inventions include bifocal spectacles, the Franklin stove, and the increased basis for understanding electricity. An inventor is someone who wants to the world a better and easier place by making new creations to make life easier for humans. That is what Thomas Edison wanted to do. Thomas Edison made so many crucial inventions in history that made mankind take many leaps forward. He made life for people in America easier.
But what is the purpose behind all of those different variations of his life? Well, first of all it is nice to know about his life and how he went from someone who worked at the railroad delivering his own newspaper to being one of the greatest inventors of all time. All of these different accounts are about his life, from just a brief summary of Edison’s life to a detailed account of his life from youth to old age. The first biography that comes to mind is Edison, His Life and Inventions by Frank Dyer and Thomas Commerford Martin. In the introduction, he starts out by saying that prior to this book, no book had been published that had the complete life of Edison (Intro, pg.1) He continues to say that this book will let the reader dive into the life of Edison and decide for themselves whether or not he was an influential person and a great contributor to today’s society.
