In Greek mythology, Zeus and Callisto, his favorite girlfriend, were walking in the forest. Zeus saw his wife Hera coming towards him. In panic, Zeus transformed Callisto into a bear. Hera saw Zeus was all by himself, but knowing her husbands cheating ways, she told him to come to Olympus with her. Zeus hesitated but ultimately went with his wife. At that moment, Arcas, Callisto's son, was hunting in the forest. He saw a bear and shot it in it's heart. Suddenly the bear started transforming back into Callisto. Arcas, realizing what he has done, cried loudly. He became angry that Zeus had done this. Zeus came down from Olympus, hearing the poor boys' cry and wanting to keep Callisto a secret from Hera. Zeus changed Callisto back into a bear
Later on, they had a boy named Arcas. Artemis jealous of Zeus, banished Callisto and Zeus’ wife Hera damaged their relationship by transforming Callisto into a bear and set him to the skies. Ursa Major was later officially located and named in
Birth God Donysus is the son God Zeus and Semele, the daughter of king Cadmus of Thebes. The Greek goddess Hera, Zeus' wife, discovered the affair while Semele was pregnant. According to the myth, Hera appeared as an old crone (or as a nurse), and approached Semele. Semele not knowing that she was the goddess Hera told her that father of the baby was the god Zeus. Goddess Hera pretended not to believe her, and planted seeds of doubt in Semele's mind.
Zeus came to the sky where all of the slaves and Aστέρι were locked up. He gave Aστέρι the ability to shift himself into anything he wanted to be. He also gave him the ability to let the slaves free to run and ask for help. Aστέρι finally turned 18 which meant he was old enough to be king. He would shapeshift himself into a gaurd and trick Josiah to let him out of the dungeon and into the kingdom.
Atreus “It’s a boy!” Zeus exclaimed as his new son was born. He was named Atreus, and he was the son of Zeus and Hera. He was a brave and adventurous boy that frequently got into trouble. When he grew up, he became a tall, blonde boy who loved to explore Olympus, the gods’ kingdom.
When Rhea’s sixth child, Zeus, was born, she managed to trick Cronus so he would not eat her last child. Rhea disguised some rocks in a shambled up cloth as a baby so that the child would live (GreekMythology). With the help of Titans Uranus and Gaea, Rhea was able to get the child safely to Mount Dicte in Crete where he would be raised secretly by Nymphs and fed with honey and milk from the goat nurse, Amaltheia. After many years at Crete, the day came where Zeus was mature enough to claim Kingdom of the World.
Jupiter saw this and prevented the arrow from hitting Castillo. To prevent further damage from Juno, he turned Arcas into a bear
After swallowing 5 of his children, Cronus’s wife Rhea was filled with sorrow and anger. So when it came to Zeus, her last child, she was determined to save him at least. In the myth the author states, “ Anxious to keep the secret of his existence from Cronus, Rhea sent the infant Zeus secretly to Crete where he was fed, protected, and educated. Zeus eventually dethroned his father, who was banished from his kingdom and deprived forever of the supreme power.”
Ever since Hercules was a child, his stepmother Hera despised him because his father Zeus, the king of the gods, had an affair with a mortal woman who gave birth to Hercules. Hera plays the classic role of the antagonist which is seen throughout many stories,
Zeus seduced Alemene when he turned himself into her husband. Their affair caused Hera to hate Hercules and want him destroyed. Hercules is the only man that had a mortal woman for a mother that became a god after her death. Hercules was extremely strong, but he had limited intelligence and wisdom.
On the island Zeus was raised and taken care of by nymphs of the sea. When Zeus got older and matured he decided to over throw his father. He wanted to over throw his father to take revenge for swallowing his brothers and sisters. Zeus also wanted to overthrow Cronus to take charge and become powerful. He become friends with a titaness or nymph Metis.
It was not a normal day, like any other. The flowers were blooming, the sun shone, but something was happening, on the little, heavenly mountain, Mt. Olympus. It was just the start of dawn, when Zeus had woken up, to a happy mood. He was on the floating clouds, admiring the freshness of the Earth, the pureness of Mt. Olympus, and what could be wrong? No sight of the Olympians, and no grumbling clouds made Zeus smile the widest than ever.
Not long after, some hunters have spotted the toddler with the bear, taking him away from the bear and raising him in the court of King Lycaon. The child, like the people that have taken care of him, became a hunter. One day, out hunting, Arcus has spotted his mom, a wild beast. He certainly did not know that the bear in front of him was his mother, so he raised his spear to skewer the bear, then suddenly Zeus had interrupted their meeting.
When he attempted to hide Io, Zeus simply covered the Earth with a cloud. Hera immediately noticed something was wrong, and when she came down to investigate, her husband turned his lover into a heifer. Both of these myths hint that the Lord of the Sky is actually desperate. As in the myth of Europa, Zeus was willing to demean himself for the chance to sleep with a mortal woman. In order to get Europa, Zeus was convinced to turn into a bull and kidnap unsuspecting Europa.
Zeus was the youngest son of six children from Cronus and Rhea. Zeus’ five other siblings were swallowed by Cronus to ensure him from being overthrown. When Zeus was born, Gaia and Rhea tricked Cronus by switching the infant with a stone. Cronus then swallowed the stone thinking it was Zeus, however he was hidden away and raised behind the scenes. When Zeus reached manhood he forced Cronus to disgorge his siblings and then released Cronus’ siblings from Tartarus.
He went on happily hunting with his newly found bow but he was slowly becoming insane. He seek help from Hephaestus when he realized that his bow is driving him insane. Hephaestus knew the cursed bow instantly when Orion presented the bow to him. Hephaestus then told him to go East and find the Gaia so that she can destroy the bow and heal Orion. While halfway on his travels, Orion discovered that Athens is under attack by Satyrs and beasts alike.
