How do we protect the hazardous waste? Steps to a better management
It is well known that wastes have a negative impact on the environment. One thing less known, however, is the fact that there are a few categories of hazardous wastes much more harmful than the mere household wastes or street, which must be managed with a lot of attention. Among these types of hazardous wastes, there are some which have a strong impact on the environment, because they have in their composition some substances that are toxic to humans and the ecosystems in which they live.

What are the steps for a more efficient management of hazardous waste?
Part of the companies for the collection of hazardous waste, Green Global follows the procedures enforced by the Ministry of Environment and the National Agency for the protection of the environment and ensure that follows the following steps:
• The collection of hazardous waste, i.e., movement in the area of pre-collection and the preparation for transport
• The carriage of hazardous waste, i.e. the movement, itself, of hazardous waste from the collection centres to the treatment
For example, the plant that I work for within Hillshire brands is a sliced deli meats manufacturer and we needs to communicate certain dangers to the community when outbreaks of disease or other disasters occur. The companies must also take certain safety measures for protecting nearby residents from leaks like ammonia that may affect the water or air quality. We dispose of inedible meat on a daily basis so this is not regular garbage, these scraps are handled by a special waste company that has the correct licenses required to dispose of the product correctly. There are state and federal laws that protect people from unethical environmental practices. Companies that violate these laws may face stiff penalties.
As a global energy company in oil and gas industry, Chevron Corporation always plays a role in reducing waste and protecting the natural resource. Through establishing logos, ethos, pathos in the video clips and texts posted on its webpage of fresh water, Chevron is convincing its customers and business partners that Chevron fulfils its corporate responsibility to manage water and improve freshwater use efficiency. In terms of visual elements, Chevron uses videos and words as mediums to show its customers and business partners how Chevron protects the environment by implementing the strategy of “recycled oil field wastewater” in Kern County and “the Richmond Advanced Recycled Expansion (RARE) Water Project” (“Fresh Water”). Sometimes our waste overflows into the trenches and we have to live with it. This can lead to various conflcitions such as diseases and other
The reason why I say that is because I was walking through a property that belonged to a business and I saw the workers of these business dumping waste and polluting the area that not only belonged to the property but that was around it as well. Trains were destroying the area by plummeting the soil with its rods which is absolutely terrible because people benefit of soil for many things such as food and clothes which are the basic necessities one needs to live. It’s already bad enough that workers pollute the environment but now also the factories they work in as well which be releasing dirty smoke that harms the air that we breathe as well now. That’s why our natural resources that come in limited amounts are being wasted and damaged by these big companies and
In order to maintain sustainability, Loblaw’s must alleviate global business challenges such as sourcing with integrity. In 2013, 1,127 people dies in the warehouse collapse in Rana Plaza, Bangladesh. The warehouse produced Joe Fresh clothes, a low-priced brand that Loblaw’s sells in their stores. When news of this event occurred, Loblaw quickly sought to alleviate the incident (McClearn, 2013). Loblaw’s measures to alleviate this strain are fairly comprehensive and complete.
Disposal and handling of hazardous materials such as nappies and body fluids is an important part in the policy. The reason why it is important because it is the changing of children’s nappies and it has to be clean. It is safe for both the children and the staff’s changing the nappy because you won’t get yourself dirty as well as the child. When changing a nappy it is necessary that the staff member wear protective wearing such as gloves and apron, to keep any bacteria you may have away from the child and whatever bacteria the child may have is cleaned up without you catching it.

In Richard Muller’s essay on Chemical Waste in America, he points out many different problems in todays disposal techniques of nuclear waste. He brings in readers by appealing to American citizens with his visual texts, guilt, and how we must start feeling some empathy for our future generations and find a solution to prevent a massive chemical waste epidemic. Mullers argument bases off his visual texts, by showing us a reality that is going on today. Among the visual texts, Muller explains the exact quantity of chemical wastes in the United States by telling his audience that, “we have already generated more than enough nuclear waste to fill up Yucca Mountain,” which is a storage bunker for chemical waste products. Muller even includes a picture of Yucca Mountain so the audience can get a feel for the absurd amount of waste we have built up.
Nowadays debris is an integral part of humanity life. Mankind thinks about how to make the product easier and cheaper to use, but nobody cares what happens with waste after it was used. We contaminate the environment with every decade increasingly: muddied air and water, global warming are an output of human life. The worst thing is that from such attitude other living beings are dying. Millions of animals and birds cannot withstand such environmental changes; their populations become smaller and, eventually, disappear altogether from the face of the earth.

Your hygiene is key to keeping you and others you come into contact with safe. Zoonosis is a disease which humans can catch from an infected animal. Meanwhile, the methods of waste disposal have improved over time. Also, that getting rid of garbage is quickly becoming a big problem due to our methods of waste disposal are only a temporary solution. Moreover; the waste that can’t decompose

Industrial and capital hubs in developing countries are similarly characterized by multiple urban sprawls, informal settlements and overcrowding. The local governments or municipalities in many developing countries are highly challenged by mainly poor or weak policy and legislative provisions to regulate and enforce waste management guidelines. They also lack adequate funding and the correct capacity in terms of waste management personnel. All these challenges lead to situations where these local authorities are failing to take effective decisions with regards to solid waste management. It is worth noting that the decisions which municipalities are facing in terms of managing solid waste are not only difficult and capital intensive but they impact greatly on the natural environment as well as on social lives of people, therefore solutions to this issue are a matter of
