There’s a woman in my life whom I greatly admire, her name is Alaura Harper. She has been my boss for a little over year in total now. Within this short and fast year I have learned so much and a great majority of it I can thank to Alaura and her hard working outlook on life. She is comparable to a mother, older sister, and good friend all wrapped up in one. She is the most hard working lady I have ever met. Whether it comes to her running the pizza shop or her journey with weight loss, all I have ever witnessed is this woman achieve greatness. She has a sense of humor to her that makes working for her fun, but don’t be fooled she is an intimidating girl. Her being like that has pushed me to try and be the hardest worker I can be, and although I might fall short of that I still strive to get there so that I can make her proud. Her partner in business and life is Shawn, whom I tend to relate to more because he is a goofball like me. I think this balance in the shop is very important because we need one fun boss and one who I try and prove myself to. I have never witnessed someone work so hard in my life. I know that I can be a goof at work and mess up sometimes, and when I let her down I feel as if I am letting down my mom. But every single time the store gets crowded and busy I am happy to have been trained under such a good hand. I used to feel as if I was good for nothing and Alaura pushing me harder and harder at work made me feel like I was worth something.
