Imagine having to run away from the cops because you wanted to sit at the front of the bus.Well, if you were black that is what would have had to happen in Martin Luther King’s time. How would you like to live like a black person in that time?I had a dream. These words are from Martin Luther King himself. From his most famous speech in his life. His speech was about blacks and whites living together in peace, and living equally( like they are on this page). Black people were not treated equal, so Martin had to do something, not knowing if it would even work. How would you like to live like a black person in that time? Martin Luther King was born January 15, 1921. He gave his famous “ I had a Dream” speech on August 28, 1963. He lead the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Then soon after, on October 14, 1964 he got the Nobel Peace prize. …show more content…

I will always say hi, and will always be helpful to them, and whether they’re nice back to me or not I will still be nice to them. Just because someone is black doesn’t mean they are bad, so I will not treated them like they are bad. How would you like to live like that. You are judged by the color of your skin, and can’t hang out with anyone that is a different color than you. Even your if it was your best friend. How would you like to be a black person at that time? Being thrown around like you’re a big threat to the world just because you are black.. That is why we need to live out Martin Luther King’s dream! Martin Luther King needs not just me, but everybody to live out his dream of equality. Martin Luther King did not die a peaceful death. Infact he got assassinated by James Earl Ray. He killed him because he probably didn’t want equality for blacks and whites. That is why we need everybody to live out Martin Luther King Jr’s
