Agriculture is an important sector of a country's economy starting from farming, livestock and marine products as well as supporters of the economy. Here, the sector of agriculture is very dependent on a climate where extreme weather can make rainfall patterns do not significantly, so the risk that will get by the farmers is the quality of the crop that is not satisfactory due to increased pests and plant diseases even some of those who experienced late in the harvest. In general, climate change will have an impact on shrinkage and degradation of land resources, water, and infrastructure, especially irrigation, which led to the threat of drought or flood. Food security is threatened as a result of temperature instability, also with the water …show more content…

Freshwater supply and the amount depend on the ecosystem. It plays a serious role in the circulation, cleaning and filling water supplies. Climate change has triggered the melting of polar ice caps and causing water levels to rise. Due to climate change, a layer of snow melt and soil will absorb more solar heat. The loss of wetlands has made the lack of the ability of a region to facilitate the ecosystem, as well as migratory species because they needed a more viable than ever and the weakening of regional capacity to absorb storm surges. The migration brings to the speed in transfer rate which changes differently in plant and animal communities. On the other hand, higher sea levels could change the salinity and water circulation patterns of coastal estuaries and bays with different consequences in mixing species that thrive there. for example, coral reefs with its characteristics that are sensitive to ambient temperature whereby when the temperature is less than 18 degrees Celsius, coral reefs will slowly die where impacts occur will affect marine …show more content…

Some fossil energy sources, including unconventional energy sources such as tar sands, gas hydrates, gas and oil, each are having a major influence on the amount and quality of water. In the production of alternative fuels for transportation, especially bio fuels, depending on the particular application can provide a considerable impact on the quality and water resources. The problem is, whether the water supply on earth is sufficient for energy power plants? The world is experiencing a water crisis because of the drastic climate change caused by human activities in the world. Groundwater resources are increasingly depleted and surface water use competition between the needs of drinking water and water for agricultural irrigation and energy needs. Energy is also necessary to purify contaminated water and waste water
