Elon Musk Owns the Future
As Elon Musk’s first wife put it “ He does what he wants, and he is relentless about it. It’s Elon’s world, and the rest of us live in it.” (Vance 22). Soon this quote will come to fruition and the world will be Elon Musk’s. In the same fashion that Apple’s Steve Jobs took over the world and put his products into the hands of almost every household in the world, Musk will soon have that same effect on the world. Musk is the Steve Jobs of my generation. However Musk's impact on society will likely not be seen on a grand scale until sadly after he his lifetime on earth. Much like how we are finally seeing the effect the empire that Steve Jobs built on society, in a world that is now dominated by technology it sadly came after his death. The societal change that Musk will have on the world is going to be one that changes humanity for the foreseeable future.

His father was a mechanical and electrical engineer and his mother was a dietician and soon after the birth of Elon came the birth of his brother Kimbal and his sister Tosca (Vance 31). Early in his life Musk was a child that simply understood and grasped things at a quicker pace than that of children the same age as him. Musk early in his life would simply drift into a trance that concerned his parents, wondering if he was deaf, he was taken to a pediatrician who decided Musk should have his adenoids removed as to help improve his hearing, this did not change him
