I quickly realized that a career as an OT would allow me the space to teach skills to children that would be life long and engaging, instead of passive. I don’t desire to prescribe medications that may inhibit the child’s personality, or simply be a short-term fix to the true underlying problem. I interned with the same kids I had worked with as a teacher, but could not work with as an OT, due to lack of training.
A good parent has to provide for their child on an emotional basis and beyond. In some of the works of literature we read, qualities of a good parent became apparent. They also wanted a peaceful, cooperative, just and secure world. Religious or spiritual concerns were generally not considered important." Therefore, given the vast array of morals and values that young people endure today, religion and spirituality has been unnecessary in their childhood
Teens and kids who socialize instead of working will not help them when applying for and managing a steady job. The support from friends and teachers can help children focus throughout their work. More social children often do well in group assignments or projects. Kids like that need to know that all the work isn’t depended on them, they need to know that the work is evenly distributed among their
