What effect does the illegal immigration have on the U.S economy?

Motivation:

To understand why so many immigrants from around the world were so focused on migrating to the U.S and to also discover whether illegal immigration has a negative or positive effect on the U.S economy, to see whether the general American population’s opinion on illegal immigrants negatively benefiting the economy is correct or wrong.

In terms of business and the U.S economy he stated that illegal immigration is a benefit to the hospitality and restaurant industries in the U.S. Simply because that the immigrants (Mexicans in particular) are good employees. They are both hard working and efficient. Their lack of legality and skills make them only eligible for these physically demanding jobs. Therefore making in an advantage for industries that occupy these sorts of jobs. The employer has the benefit of obtaining healthy and often young employees who are committed to their jobs. And the rest of the American society are able to account for the aging and injured as well as for the dependants for healthcare, law enforcement costs, education etc. This is good for the American economy because the illegal immigrants are efficient in their jobs, that means that the industries can perform to a higher level and are able to produce a better output whilst lowering production costs and employee costs. U.S Economists revealed that the amount of illegal immigrants that live in the country contribute to the economy by occupying the low end, physical labour that the domestic citizens do not desire. It is known that there are many immigrants that currently live in the U.S and there are a significant number of them that are undocumented workers. Reasons for these immigrants being attracted to the U.S is because of the many working opportunities available for them rather than in their native countries. I uncovered the positive effects that illegal immigrants had on the economy, correcting the views of the majority of domestic citizens in the U.S; the general opinion is that illegal immigrants only negatively affect the U.S economy. The one flaw is that I did not uncover the negative effects of illegal immigrants in the
