We live in the digital world, we live, work, learn, play, drive, network, eat and shop in this modern age. The influence of information systems and technology permeate everything we do. As businesses approach the acquisition and use of technology, we do so very differently in our personal life. Nowadays, we all know that development and existence of e-Business is a vital factor of global economy. Different types of information systems were introduced and most of the systems solved business problems. We said that the solution to the problem is usually an information system. Collaboration, as most traditional business people think about it, is getting employees together and having them to work in teams to create a solution to a problem, take advantage of an opportunity, or address an issue. It can be short-lived, lasting a few minutes, or longer term, depending on the nature of the task and the relationship among clienteles. Some of those traditional business people characterized themselves as innovative because they give employees IT-based collaboration tools so they can work virtually, without having to be in the same location. For truly innovative business organizations, collaboration means so much more. It is about extending empowerment beyond employees to include customers and perhaps people with whom the organization has never done business.
