The different values of art were also mentioned namely materialistic, intrinsic, religious, patriotic, and others.
As what Shank(2003) stated, visual stimuli are used in instruction in the form of visual references like pictures, charts, diagram and video imaging on lectures and verbal teaching. A large number of men are strongly attached into music compared to women. Mostly, the music genres are suitable or fit for men; examples are metal, rock, and rap. Societal influence is possibly one of the strongest factors shaping our musical preferences. Large-scale societal preferences can increase or limit exposure to certain music styles and thus impact individual-level preferences. (Meyers, 33) The surrounding has a strong influence, affecting what type of music they really want. Besides, limited sources of music can get because it's still in the public music taste. Rock Genre Mutation When music from the 20th and 21st centuries comes to mind, many are immediately drawn to the genre of rock and roll. Rock and roll, which emerged in the 1950’s, was unlike any genre before it. It combines elements from several different existing genres such as country music and blues (“Tracing the History of Rock `n' Roll”). Rock instrumentals consist mainly of bass, drums and guitars.

Rock and Roll Influence on Society During WW2 American attitudes have swayed and altered throughout history of this country. They are often influenced by the things happening and evolving all around us such as social media, economic changes, wars, etc. A few of these events fade, leaving us to revert back to our older ways however one stands out from the rest which appears to be immortal. I will be getting three different facts on how drug use effects the rock and roll industry. In my opinion I do think that drug use is one of the main things that people notice when they go to concerts, listen closely to the lyrics of the band’s music, and also just in general.
Black Metal and Viking Metal Metal music offers a unique cultural experience that many other genres fail to match. Over the past three decades’ metal has evolved from a derivative of hard-rock to a genre of its own with dozens of sub-genres. Despite this diversity, each sub-genre has uniqueness in style of sound, rebellion, and passion. All three of these traits originally developed from the negative connotations presented by prior societal conservatism. However, the passion that many fans have for metal can sometimes spill over into violence.
En Masse, Rock and Roll has influenced various areas of the youth culture amid the 1960’s, dominating many areas of the world. What draws us to certain music? My grandparents, for example, have always considered the music I like “noise”. But, what makes it any more or less noise than what they listen to? Everyone I know, has a wide variety in music taste; from death metal to country to pop and jazz, but what determines what we and others like and dislike? It all has to do with our brain; as well as our cultural background and upbringing, and even our friends, family and coworkers play a role.
Younger generations are inseparable from their headphone but when asked about music, they become soundless and grow distant. In “Can Music Save Your Life,” college professor Mark Edmundson describes his studies of how music affects the mind and concludes that music makes the generation feel like their voices are heard through the lyrics. He believes that people use music to escape our fears, reality, and to soothe ourselves. When individuals listen to a specific song that opens a door in their minds, they tend to listen to the song repeatedly until it has no effect anymore and the door closes. Music makes people search further into themselves and they begin to flourish through every lyric, every note, and every instrument played in the song.
In the end, the music is created with the main themes of sex, drug abuse, and immorality that cause negative effects on the life of teenagers (Elligan, 2004). In this case, the listener should always be wise to ensure that the music does not have a negative impact on behaviors, mood, and sexual orientations in the
Inevitably, the patterns of content in popular music will tend to reflect trends in the youth culture (Christenson et. al,

Teens, Kids and violent music in America: Could music be changed? Music really is an important part of all our lives. Music may get you pumped up for a big day or relaxed after a stressful day. You may even shed a tear out of the emotion of a sad song that sparks good or bad memory.
To sum things up, there are three benefits of music in our daily life. First, it can be a typical and effective way to make a person happier. Secondly, music also can help in boosting up your energy while doing activities such as running and also workout and lastly, music can somehow help to improve a person’s sleep quality. The archetypal forms of music were probably drum-based, prelusion instruments being the most easily handy at the time. For an example, rocks and sticks.
