Politics and Leadership have a lot of effect on us as a country. We all have different opinions. Some people feel like their vote doesn’t matter, others show up to the polls to demonstrate their ideals, their are those who believe that one person can’t control the outcomes of ordinary life, and some may think new leaders bring new opportunities or challenges for an average person. In all reality anything can cause a change rather you vote or not , not voting can cause things that is unwanted to happen. The best solution is to =show up to the polls in every election to demonstrate their ideals.
Demonstrating their ideals obviously means expressing their feelings and thoughts on who should be in charge of our country or community. Knowing

Demonstrating their ideals obviously means expressing their feelings and thoughts on who should be in charge of our country or community. Knowing or believing in Who can do what ?, How can they do it ? What can they do? , How effective would it be done ?. Voting chooses the leader and politics in many ways without an opinion, no one would know what to do or how to do

In order to make our voice be heard toward the candidate of our choice we should participate in campaigns as well as voting. The majority of our population doesn’t take the time to get politically involved and vote, making their opinion towards our government overlooked. Get involved in campaigns, make your voice be
In “ Race in Beyond: Why Young, Minority, and Low-income Citizens Don’t Vote,” Sam Fulwood III claims “ regardless of whether favored candidate won or a popular ballot initiative passed, our nation suffered because of a number of people who don’t vote at all” (par.2). I believe this too be true because I’m one of those Americans. However Americans change this, I can change this. Have you ever that expression, “The straw that broke the camel’s back”? Anyone of us Americans can be single straw.
Voting participation is one of the most importing things in are government. We really need for citizens to step up and voice their opinions and get involved in the united states government. In conclusion I really thing that it would be awesome for the government to get more unified and come together despite our differences and pass laws that can help get this country back on track. In this country without unity we will continues to see congressional gridlock without
You want your people to be excited about their government and if they are forced to vote they will no longer want to be a part. Inspire them, encourage them, and show them how special their government is, and how excited they should be that they actually can have a part! When the citizens are happy, Xlandia can be happy. And that, is our words of advice. Make note that we have taken into consideration every single aspect, and it all boils down to the your citizens.
We need to change peoples idea of the elections. This will not be something easily done because its hard to change peoples minds on stuff like this. After the people become educated about congress and the president
The United States of America has make some amazing progress from the first 13 settlements. They began as a state represented by a Monarch from England, changed to a republic toward the begin of the insurgency and today regardless we have that republic base in our majority rules system. In spite of the fact that the way how the legislature hasn't changed much, the way how we vote does. At first just the rich and capable had the capacity vote, however in present day America, any legitimate US inhabitant of age not in jail can vote. Consistently, the general population get out and vote in favor of individuals that will attempt to would what they like to do, if not they choose someone else for the employment.
There are a number of differences in the demographics between the ones that are and are not politically involved. Older people tend to vote more than the younger people by their concern toward the government, as well as the number of white Americans voting more than the other minority races would. The educated will vote more than the uneducated by having more knowledge of the election, along with families with higher income of over $65,000 having time to vote than the low income ones of $35,000 or under. The ones who shows party identification would want to get involved in politics, whereas independent individual would not care as much. People who grew up with specific ideology would want to have a say in politics, in contrast to those who did not.
Voting is one of the many civic duties, as an American citizen, that is the most exercised. In the recent years, the voter turnout has increased from the previous years, but the turnout is still less than desired. In the 2008 presidential election alone, 61.7% of the eligible United States population voted and 53.7% of the eligible Texan population voted. This is much better than previous years, but still does not show a collective effort on the part of all eligible populations to vote. Americans have been known to have low voter turnouts.
For instance our local government decides new laws that will be passed for our towns, the places we can live, and the places we can walk, and even things like businesses that are able to be open or need to be torn down. We may not think so but our votes are also important in the state and national elections as well. These are the people we will be depending on for the next term and the individuals we will have to look up to whether we like to or not. These are the people who budget our money and the individuals we are trusting. It is very important for us to go out and vote, it impacts us as an individual.
As an encouragement to vote most of us have probably been told, “every vote counts” at some point in our lives. In reality, this is not true in presidential elections due to the Electoral College and what it does. The Electoral College has flaws in it that can prohibit the outcome of the election from accurately reflecting whom a majority the people of the country cast their vote for. Not only will he abolishment of the electoral college change the outcome of elections, it can change the whole campaign process and the way some people in less represented states feel about voting increasing voter turnout.
Voting allows you to choose who you, as an individual, believe who can provide for the country and treat the issues we face. Finally, voting a person into the most important role in the world ( the president of the United States) allows you to save the world. With a world so heavily militaries and military occupents all around the world, with allied countries and allied forces with the ability to end the world with atomic weaponry beyond what any of us can fathom, is all at the fingure tips of whomever is elected into office. Do your research, vote respoibly, your vote
In Canada, we believe that democracy is the best choice to choose who leads our governments and with voter turnout descending, it seems as though that election results will not always represent what people want in terms of the leader of the government. Canadians, especially young Canadians, seem not to understand the importance of voting and how the results affect their lives. When Canadians decide not to vote, the motivated voters decide what all Canadians will accept as the party who will be the next government in whichever jurisdiction the election took place. With these reasons, I strongly believe that the importance of voting should be more emphasized to Canadians as voter turnout has been descending, it will stimulate stronger participation and interest in political activity and the importance of voting is not understood by the majority of youth in Canada.
Through voting we are responsible on who gets into office. Elected representatives are responsible more many choices
However, one of the key characteristics of a healthy democracy is a high voter-turnout. If people do not turn up on Election Day, it is likely that they do not see the point of holding elections or the conditions are not suitable for them to vote. People vote because they believe that their vote has the power to make changes in the country. Voter apathy often develops when voters do not see voting as a way of voicing their concerns. America therefore continues to tread on risky ground, if a way of increasing voter turnout is not found.
Thank you, Millicent Fawcett, for giving me the opportunity to speak on behalf of the National Union of Women 's Suffrage Societies which Millicent leads with grace and dignity. Some of you may know me and some of you may not, but I am Clementine Forest one of 3000 women suffragists who has marched here today, the largest march ever occurred, for the cause of women 's suffrage. I am here to represent and express the importance of women receiving the right to vote. Unfortunately, the London weather wasn 't on our side with the presence of heavy rain throughout our march from Hyde Park to Exter Hall, but this reinforces that nothing will stop women from protesting their right to vote. As you know we have been gathered together as one, today on February 9th, 1907, the day in which Parliament is open once again for the coming year.
