Another resemblance between 'The Lion King ' and 'Macbeth ' is the characters of the story. It 's well-known that the first character which has a great role of the story in 'Macbeth ' is King Duncan, while King Mufasa also represents this role in 'The Lion King '. Obviously, we can see the similarity between both of them through their position in the society. King Duncan is the king of Scotland, while the Pride Lands is ruled by King Mufasa; likewise, they both rule the land rightfully.
