The solar storm ravaged the primitive telegraph communication system used in 1859, and caused damage to electrical grids worldwide. CAUSES The Carrington Event was caused by a massive burst of electromagnetic radiation, magnetized gas and plasma released into the solar wind by the Sun’s corona in a phenomenon called a coronal mass ejection (CME).
“The Space Between Stars” was written by Geeta Kothari. The short story is about an Indian Girl named Maya who immigrated to America at a young age. The story shows what she went threw growing up as a female immigrant and all the situations he had to overcome. Through out the story I learned that there are women who struggle to show how they feel and how brave and compassionate a woman can be. I already had a great appreciation for women because my mother raise me on her own for the first two years of my life.

The entire story is based on the fact that Fortunato has wronged Montresor many times, and Montresor dealt with them until Fortunato “ventured upon insult,” which caused Montresor to “vow revenge.” Though it seems the “insult” must be so terrible that Montresor is willing to murder him for it, the reader can not be entirely sure that the killing is justified since Montresor is not of sound mind. Because Montresor is the narrator, and unreliable at that, the reader is forced to learn about the events through a perspective tainted by emotions and bias. For example, the person telling the tale may embellish or downplay events in the story in order to look like the “good guy” without completely lying.

The slight amount of mass that is lost from either the separation or combination follows the Einstein’s mass energy relation E= mc2 where m is defined as the mass and c is the speed of light. Suzan Lori Parks’ play, Venus Hottentot, depicts a life of a native African woman named Saartjie Bartman, who travelled to Europe by deception, and was exploited first as an ugly creature for a show and then as an object of study for anatomists. Saartjie Baartman was born in 1789 in Eastern Cape of South Africa, and worked on a Dutch colonial farm. Renewable energy is generally defined as energy that comes from resources which are naturally replenished on a human timescale such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. It is the energy which is abundant in nature. The sun is the ultimate source of energy. Almost all the energy that we use eventually comes from the Sun. The exception is the heat of radioactivity deep inside the Earth, which is ultimately responsible for processes taking place inside the Earth.
