Based on ninth edition of Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary, technology means scientific knowledge used in practical ways in industry. For decades, technology had helped us a lot in agriculture, industry, communication, and our daily lives. Technology improved day by day and became modern and updated almost every day. A lot of international convention, exhibition, conference, and competition were held to introduce a lot of fresh and newer technologies to improved human’s daily life such as International Educational Technology Conference (IETC) and Human Plus Exhibition. People’s dependence on technology has affected creativity and communication in a good and bad ways.

First and foremost, technology has affected our creativity in a good way. Youths and nowadays generation have been exposed to a lot of technology. In 20th century, communication that widely used were telegraph and wired phone. Nowadays, communications are widely spread around the world with a lot of ways. As the Internet can be accessed by almost everyone in the world, communication has been upgraded into the easiest and fastest way to communicate with people around the world. For example, online conference by using Skype or Google Hangouts, online chatting by using social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and sending private yet important messages as fast as possible by using electronic mailing, known as E-mail. Based on a research, high school students are more opened to share their opinion on social media such as WhatsApp’s group class than responding in the class. This way can slowly help and train students to be braved speaking and throwing their opinion in a right way in the future. Hence, technology helps a lot in nowadays
