Often times, a natural disaster will leave residents of affected areas in a state of awe as they seek to understand what exactly happened. One such example is Hurricane Hugo.
As the storm passed west of Cuba, its effects extended as far east as Havana, where winds reached 56 mph (90 km/h). Across the Florida Straits, Key West, Florida, recorded 36 mph (58 km/h) winds.[4] The strongest sustained winds measured in association with the storm were 107 mph (172 km/h) in Mobile, Alabama, corresponding to a one-minute average of 87 mph (140 km/h) adjusted for modern recording techniques. Hurricane-Ready Homes Potential damage from a tropical cyclone might be the last thing you want to consider when searching for your new Florida home, but it should be a primary concern. What these people lack are specific examples of how this technology could be misused. Drones can be compared to the telescreens that populate George Orwell’s dystopian 1984. Somini Sengupta points this out in a New York Times article. “They can be used to track fleeing criminals, stranded hikers — or just as easily, political protesters.” She goes on to quote Charlottesville city councilman, Dave Norris who says, “To me, it’s Big Brother in the sky.”
Drones look like little remote control helicopters but with cameras in them. Some people fly these just for fun, but sometimes they can be used in the military. However, they have been seen to be becoming an invasion of privacy. Recently, there was a Kentucky man who shot down a drone that was hovering over the houses in his neighborhoods. In an article, he was asked and interviewed about the situation and said, “...To me, it was the same as trespassing”(Hawkins).
Years later he went back to Apple and came up with technology that was to

When we think about drone or UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), first thing comes to our mind is; frightening, alien looking unmanned aircraft that has been involved with so many bombings and targeted killings. In “Drone Home: What Happens When Drones Return to America”, from Time, Lev Grossman wrote drones are dreaded all around the globe, and possibly they have gotten this fear through the United States Military.
